El siguiente es un dibujo digital, fue realizado mediante dos softwares de inteligencia artificial, el VQGAN y el CLIP, el primero es capaz de genera imágenes realistas al ojo humano, mientras que la segunda es capaz de sintetizar una imagen a partir de un texto escrito. En consecuencia, la combinación de ambas IA, permite sintetizar imágenes realistas, a partir de textos descriptivos.
La premisa escrita, usada para la generación de la imagen fue la de un “Monstruo con tentáculos, que emerge en medio de la niebla en un bosque”, esto se debería hacer simulando el motor gráfico Unreal Engine y con un estilo Hiperrealista.
Las IA, generaron varios artes diferentes los cuales fui descartando hasta encontrar uno que cumplía con mis expectativas.
A continuación, muestro algunas de las iteraciones que las IA, generaron en el proceso de creación de la imagen seleccionada.
Al final detuve las iteraciones en la número 700, aunque seleccioné como definitiva la iteración 600.
La IA pudo seguir refinando mucho más la imagen y dándole una apariencia más realista, sin embargo, en este punto me gusto el aspecto desenfocado e impresionista que tienen los árboles en la imagen seleccionada, a la vez que el monstruo, con una piel que parece músculo descarnado y brillante, tiene la apariencia de un pulpo, que parece desparramarse por el paisaje, mientras que sus cristalinos ojos observan al espectador.

Mist Creature
The following is a digital drawing, it was made using two artificial intelligence softwares, VQGAN and CLIP, the first one is able to generate images realistic to the human eye, while the second one is able to synthesize an image from a written text. Consequently, the combination of both AIs allows synthesizing realistic images from descriptive texts.
The written premise used for the generation of the image was that of a "Tentacled monster, emerging from the fog in the forest", this should be done by simulating the Unreal Engine graphic engine and with a Hyperrealistic style.
The AI, generated several different arts which I discarded until I found one that met my expectations.
Below, I show some of the iterations that the AI generated in the process of creating the selected image.
In the end I stopped the iterations at the 700th iteration, although I selected the 600th iteration as the final one.
The AI was able to further refine the image and give it a more realistic look, however, at this point I liked the out-of-focus, impressionistic look of the trees in the selected image, while the monster, with a skin that looks like shiny, fleshy muscle, has the appearance of an octopus, seeming to sprawl across the landscape, while its crystalline eyes stare out at the viewer.
