―No sé quién crees que soy, nunca he visto a los hermanos Satoshi y no conozco nada sobre una operación de tráfico de mujeres desde Cefeo ―dijo la mujer ―. Trabajo ahí desde hace un año y nunca he visto a los dueños.

―Susana, se más de ti de lo que crees, sé que tu verdadero nombre es Eliana Viña, sé que naciste en Perseo y saliste de ahí con un grado en tecnología naval ―el rostro de la mujer dibujó una expresión de consternación al escuchar mis palabras ―. Sé que estuviste trabajando en Dione, antes de ser despedida por un incidente que ocasionó la muerte de dos personas y también sé que fuiste el chivo expiatorio, porque el responsable fue tu supervisor…

―¡Maldito infeliz!, ¿cómo averiguaste eso? ―me dijo exaltada.

―Sé que después de eso te hiciste adicta al cristal y caíste en la prostitución, fuiste arrestada y estuviste detenida en Proteo por cinco años, donde fuiste rehabilitada ―continué con mi relato sin prestar atención a sus quejas ―. ―Lo siento, pero no puedo ayudarlo, me matarán si lo hago ―respondió levantándose de la banca donde estábamos sentados.

La tomé de la muñeca y la forcé a sentarse nuevamente ―. Mira Susana o Eliana, sé que conoces la operación de los Satoshi, y sé que te repugna, tu tienes una hija de trece años y sabes lo que deben sentir los padres de las niñas que esos degenerados han hecho desaparece y ahora deben estar esclavizadas en quien sabe dónde ―le dije apelando a su empatía ―. Así como conozco tantos detalles de tu vida, también sé que no eres una mala persona, sé que huiste aquí, para no ir a la cárcel y poder conservar a tu hija, pero sabes que este no es un buen lugar para que ella crezca, te ofrezco sacarte de aquí y que así puedas darle una mejor vida.

La mujer ocultó nuevamente su rostro entre sus manos, para luego levantarlo y enjugar sus lágrimas con la manga de su sobretodo.

―¿Me prometes que nada nos pasara a mi hija y a mí? ―preguntó.

―Te lo prometo, esta misma noche haré que saquen a tu hija del planeta si aceptas ayudarme y mañana, después de que me logres hacer entrar al escondite, iras a acompañarla.

―Maldita sea, lo haré. ―dijo poniendo las manos sobre su cabeza ―. Dime, ¿cómo supiste que estaba aquí? y ¿por qué yo?

―No sabía nada de eso antes de venir aquí, sólo probé suerte al ir al Kan ―le dije ―. Cuando noté tu expresión de asco al decirte mis requerimientos, supuse que tu podrías ayudarme.

―Pero, ¿cómo pudiste conocer tanto de mí?

―Ya te dije que fui policía, y cuando tomaste mi mano en el bar, tus huellas y epiteliales se transfirieron a mi piel, con eso y mi implante neural obtuve la información que necesitaba de ti en la base de datos de seguridad del Parlamento ―todos tienen secretos, sólo hay que saber que botones oprimir, pensé tras decir esto.
