Good day amazing people of world of Xpilar. I bring you my entry for the cityscape photography and art contest week#082.

This are photos showing some parts of a major river in Nigeria, the river Niger. There are basically two major rivers in Nigeria, river Niger and river Benue.

River Niger is the boundary between two major states in my country. Delta state and Anambra state. There is a very big bridge built over the river. This picture was taken while we were stuck in a traffic jam on the Niger bridge.

The river is a major source of lively hood for some of the residents along it bank who are fisher men. There's no port on the river.
