The Golden Soldier Fly (Family Stratiomyidae)

The Stratiomyidae is commonly called the soldier fly, a strange name, and even stranger in German it's called the Waffenfliegen (armed fly). I have seen a species that is black in color or commonly called a black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens), whereas in these pictures it is the golden soldier fly species.
The golden soldier fly has the characteristics of its legs and antennae which are golden yellow, its abdomen is bright green, and it has large compound eyes that are metallic gray with a purple stripe.

Stratiomyidae biasa disebut lalat prajurit, nama yang aneh, dan lebih aneh lagi di Jerman dia disebut Waffenfliegen (lalat bersenjata). Saya sudah pernah melihat Spesies yang berwarna hitam atau biasa disebut lalat prajurit hitam (Hermetia illucens), sedangkan dalam gambar-gambar ini adalah spesies lalat prajurit emas.
Lalat prajurit emas memiliki ciri-ciri yaitu kaki dan antenanya yang berwarna kuning keemasan, bagian abdomennya berwarna hijau terang, dan memiliki mata majemuk yang besar berwarna abu-abu metalik dengan satu garis ungu.
