Macrophotography: Strange Ant Perches on Wild Grass
In the middle of searching for other insects, I was really caught up with tiny creatures perching in hurry on the wild grass. It is a kind of ant that has a unique form of the body, having a hump on its back which soon grabbed my attention to take some shots with my smartphone and external macro. I managed to direct the lens upon its way up and down running from the shot. Despite I have no idea what this ant should be properly called, even I spend some time searching for the name of this ant, I still could not be able to find it. Forgive me for not trying harder! If we take a look closer at the shape of this insect, it has a dark red hump bigger than its abdomen with black eyes and wings. So, allow me to call this uncommon insect with humped ant.
