Inizio col dire che la prima regola del Luddite Club è eliminare lo smartphone!
Proprio così un club dove per scelta si dice addio allo smartphone e ai social network e si sostituiscono con una vera socialità, fatta di persone in carne e ossa e tempo da passare insieme.
Starete pensando che sia un'iniziativa di un gruppo di adulti o magari anziani da sempre in conflitto con la tecnologia? Invece no!
Tutto inizia da una diciassettenne newyorkese che durante la pandemia da Covid-19 come tutti si è ritrovata chiusa in casa ed isolata, e come tanti suoi coetanei ha passato le giornate sui social network, l'unico modo per rimanere in contatto col mondo esterno.
Un mondo esterno però finto e negativo che intossica e crea una vera dipendenza spingendo le persone a passare ore attaccate ad uno schermo invece di vivere la vita vera.
Questa esperienza ha spinto la giovane newyorkese ad andare controcorrente e decidere di eliminare lo smartphone e soprattutto internet dalla sua vita, e stranamente in tanti nella sua scuola l'hanno seguita e tutti insieme hanno creato il Luddite Club!
Sembra che i primi giorni questi giovani ribelli 2.0 si siano trovati spaesati, in difficoltà a riempire il tanto tempo a loro disposizione, incapaci a fronteggiare la noia.
Poi però piano piano hanno cominciato a dedicarsi a tantissime attività creative mai pensate prima, scoprendo un mondo di cose da fare anche in compagnia di altre persone e spesso all'aria aperta, praticamente hanno scoperto che si può vivere senza essere connessi 24 ore al giorno ai social network, e che la vita vera è più appagante e soddisfacente di quella virtuale!
Che dire io ho molta fiducia nei giovani, perchè riusciranno sempre a trovare il modo per migliorare il mondo brutto e distorto che noi adulti abbiamo creato. Spero che i Luddite Club si moltiplicheranno e diffonderanno in giro per il Mondo!
E voi sareste pronti ad essere rivoluzionari e ribelli tanto da rinunciare allo smartphone e alla connessione internet?

I'll start by saying that the first rule of the Luddite Club is to get rid of the smartphone!
That's right, a club where by choice we say goodbye to smartphones and social networks and replace them with real sociability, made up of real people and time to spend together.
You're thinking this is an initiative by a group of adults or perhaps elderly people who have always been at odds with technology? Instead no!
It all starts with a 17-year-old New Yorker who during the Covid-19 pandemic, like everyone else, found herself shut in and isolated, and like many of her peers spent her days on social networks, the only way to stay in touch with the outside world.
A fake and negative outside world that intoxicates and creates a real addiction, pushing people to spend hours attached to a screen instead of experiencing real life.
This experience prompted the young New Yorker to go against the tide and decide to eliminate smartphones and especially the Internet from her life, and strangely enough, many at her school followed her and together they created the Luddite Club!
It seems that in the early days, these young 2.0 rebels found themselves bewildered, struggling to fill the large amount of time at their disposal, unable to cope with boredom.
But then they slowly began to dedicate themselves to many creative activities they had never thought of before, discovering a world of things to do in the company of other people and often outdoors. They practically discovered that you can live without being connected 24 hours a day to social networks, and that real life is more fulfilling and satisfying than the virtual one!
What can I say I have a lot of faith in young people, because they will always manage to find ways to improve the ugly and distorted world we adults have created. I hope the Luddite Clubs will multiply and spread around the World!

How come? I can't imagine my life without smartphone and social media and virtual life is my most favourite. I've never heard about Luddite Club before this post reading. This is possible as our old generation was living a good life without smartphone and virtual life. Thanks for sharing!
I have to say that life without a smartphone I lived and all in all it was not bad, but of course technology makes things a lot easier.
But it also robs us of a lot of time and experiences and it is nice that young people understand that you can also be without a smartphone!

La premessa ricorda quasi quella del fight club 😅 per fortuna le nuove generazioni alla fine trovano sempre una via di fuga.. 😉

Verissimo la tecnologia è importante e ci facilita la vita ma si possono fare tantissime esperienze anche senza, l'importante è scegliere di usarla e non esserne dipendenti!

Molto interessante proprio perché l'iniziativa arriva dai giovani. Ho sentito anche di ristoranti che hanno sale apposite o l'intero locale, dove non è permesso usare il cellulare...
Si il fatto che siano i giovani a capire che i social network andrebbero limitati è una bella notizia!
Ovvio non si può rinunciare allo smartphone ma sicuramente esserne meno dipendenti!
Mah!!! Non saprei... più che eliminare la tecnologia io farei un club del RISPETTO e dell'EDUCAZIONE CIVICA. Eliminare lo smartphone e la tecnologia non migliora di certo le persone. Opinione personale.

Ecco qui siamo d'accordo.. un bel CLUB sull'EDUCAZIONE CIVICA. io vedo ancora gente che tira giù il finestrino dall'auto e butta di tutto, persone che non si preoccupano della fila e passano davanti... insomma.. la tecnologia non è il vero male.. diamo la colpa alla tecnologia ma è solo una scusa.. il vero male siamo noi. Una volta tolta la tecnologia, la convivenza civile non migliorerà, no è la tecnologia che sposta l'ago della bilancia... sempre secondo me.
Posso vivere senza un social network, beh, non senza steemit haaaaaaa, in steemit trovo @robytrix e altri utenti che rendono la mia vita più piacevole, ma non lascerò mai il mio cellulare, è come mia moglie haaaaa, l'interazione tra esseri umani dovrebbe non abbiamo regole, non è necessario, siamo social per natura, quindi possiamo facilmente interagire con altre persone senza dover eliminare nulla

Però usare meno social network e stare più tempo con le persone in carne e ossa ci fa stare bene! Ovviamente con le persone che ci piacciono ahahahaha!
