The Eternal City - my entry to UNFORGETTABLE ITALY contest: Week 13

Hey there, friends of Italy!

Here is my entry to the contest of @girolamomarotta and @italygame , "UNFORGETTABLE ITALY contest: Week 13".

This picture I took near the most famous ancient building in the eternal city, Rome. It is a 25 seconds long exposure photograph with trails from the rear lights of the passing cars which I waited in order to create this light-painting and give the photos a bit of uniqueness, as far as this is possible.

I have to say, our walk in the night Rome was so special, with all the great architecture and art, enlightened in an amazing way and giving the whole city a completely different outlook. Also, the night life in Rome is completely different, the large tourist crowds are already gone and I could feel much better the atmosphere of the eternal city. As our temporary "home" for this photo-trip was located at Trastevere, it was quite spectacular to pass the old bridges every day, at different hours of the day and see how the city life changes.
