My Birthday Surprise - La mia sorpresa di compleanno [ENG-ITA]

Hello everyone!

Yes, yesterday was my birthday. 🥳
The second of the Coronavirus era and, I really hope with all my heart that it is the last in these conditions of anomaly.

Last year it was really surreal...I celebrated in total lockdown, locked up at home with my wife and children.
This year it went a little better, because we are still in an emergency but at least we can meet our closest relatives.

So, in the evening we went to my parents' house and spent a few hours together there.

It was a nice birthday, I must say that I was showered with good wishes on my social profiles and also in private from relatives and friends.

I never take this affection for granted and it always gives a lot of pleasure, even more so now that hugs can be virtual at best.

I also received a very special gift, which I will talk about in more detail in a future post.

Since I am a pizza lover and I enjoy studying and discovering new types of dough and cooking methods, I received an oven with which it is possible to reproduce a semi-professional pizza at home.

A gift that will not do my line any good...let's say it should be used responsibly. 😄

But the most unexpected surprise came at the time of the cake...

I opened the box and here's what I found myself in front of!

A Steem themed cake!!! 😃

I was very surprised because it was my wife Alessandra's idea.

She clearly knows my passion well, but many times she scolds me for the long time I spend on this platform.

Ale is totally out of the cryptocurrency world, I've never been able to bring her here on Steemit, despite her being much more social than me.

Therefore, when I saw this cake, my reaction was one of fun and great surprise.

I must say that she was very witty and also very sweet.

Ciao a tutti!

Ebbene sì, ieri è stato il mio compleanno. 🥳
Il secondo dell'era Coronavirus e, mi auguro davvero con tutto il cuore che sia l'ultimo in queste condizioni di anomalia.

L'anno scorso è stato davvero surreale...ho festeggiato in totale lockdown, chiuso in casa con mia moglie e i miei figli.
Quest'anno è andata un pochino meglio, perché siamo sempre in emergenza ma almeno possiamo incontrare i nostri parenti più stretti.

Così, in serata siamo andati a casa dei miei genitori e lì abbiamo trascorso qualche ora insieme.

E' stato un bel compleanno, devo dire che sono stato inondato di auguri sui miei profili social e anche in privato da parenti e amici.

Non do mai per scontato questo affetto e fa sempre molto piacere, a maggior ragione adesso che gli abbracci possono essere al massimo virtuali.

Ho ricevuto anche un regalo molto speciale, di cui vi parlerò meglio nel dettaglio in un prossimo post.

Poiché io sono un amante della pizza e mi diverto a studiare e scoprire nuovi tipi di impasto e di modalità di cottura, ho ricevuto un forno con il quale è possibile riprodurre a casa una pizza semi-professionale.

Un regalo che non farà bene alla mia linea...diciamo che va usato responsabilmente. 😄

Ma la sorpresa più inaspettata è arrivata al momento della torta...

Ho aperto la scatola ed ecco cosa mi sono ritrovato davanti!

Sono rimasto molto sorpreso perché è stata un'idea di mia moglie Alessandra.

Lei chiaramente conosce bene la mia passione, ma tante volte mi rimprovera per il tanto tempo che trascorro su questa piattaforma.

Ale è totalmente fuori dal mondo delle criptovalute, non sono mai riuscito a portarla qui su Steemit, nonostante lei sia molto più social di me.

Per questo, quando ho visto questa torta, la mia reazione è stata di divertimento e grande sorpresa.

Devo dire che è stata molto spiritosa e anche molto dolce.
