Oggi voglio pubblicare una rivisitazione delle foto scattate alcuni mesi fa. Eravamo esattamente a metà Aprile, e il soggetto chiave è una manifestazione che si tenne in due diverse giornate. Questo evento consisteva in una una gara di paraciclismo, una disciplina in cui gli atleti competono tra loro per mezzo di strumenti molto simili a una bicicletta, ma con varie differenze: alcune presentano modifiche minime, altre si muovono con la forza delle braccia e non delle gambe, e altre ancora consistono in degli schienali paralleli al terreno, quasi incollati all'asfalto.
Per farti capire meglio, puoi osservare le immagini che trovi poche righe più giù. Le foto da cui sono tratte sono state scattate nella sola Domenica mattina, quando ho raggiunto il lungomare della città dove risiedo. Una volta a casa, ho cancellato le foto peggio riuscite e, qualche giorno fa, ho scelto le migliori con cui realizzare questo post: ho ricreato una versione in bianco e nero e ne ho modificato alcune caratteristiche. Ho alterato le luci e le ombre, ho accentuato i contrasti e ho aggiunto delle vignettature.
Per completare il procedimento mi sono avvalso dell'applicazione desktop gratuita Paint.net. Questo post è parte della mia rubrica Towards the Bikend, una tipologia di post che ho contraddistinto con il tag #bikend. Today I want to post a series of photos taken a few months ago. We were exactly in mid-April, and the key subject is an event that was held on two different days. This event consisted of a para-cycling competition, a discipline in which athletes compete against each other using tools that are very similar to a bicycle, but with various differences: someone has minimal modifications, others move with the power of their arms and not of their legs, and still others are parallel-to-the-ground backrests, almost glued to the asphalt.
To help you better understand, you can look at the images that you find a few lines above. The photos from which I created them were taken only on Sunday morning when I reached the seafront of the city where I live in. Once reaching home, I deleted the worst photos and, a few days ago, I chose the best ones with which I create this post: I recreated a black and white version and modified some features. I altered the lights and shadows, accentuated the contrasts, and added some vignettings.
To complete the process, I used the free desktop app Paint.net. This post is part of my Towards the Bikend initiative, a kind of post I mark with the #bikend tag. laying down and cycling its something new to me to see. At first glance I thought the guy with cycle fall down on the ground but when I saw all images the latest cycle surprised me. This kind of cycle I've never seen before, thanks dear friend Davide for sharing this with us.

Interessantissimo! La gara paraciclistica mi ha pure ricordato Zanardi (le ultime notizie che avevo letto riguardavano quel brutto incidente proprio nella paraciclistica di alcuni anni fa, povero, chissà come sta oggi).
Non saprei, non si trovano notizie in giro sul web. Speriamo meglio :)
