MASSONI PRIMA E DOPO LA RIVOLUZIONE 🇮🇹🇬🇧

Ci sono argomenti e situazioni nella vita che attirano la mia attenzione.
Situazioni in cui non sono particolarmente ferrato, non si puo' essere tuttologi, ma di cui vorrei saperne di piu'.
La curiosita' e' uno dei motori che ha portato l'uomo, dall'eta' delle caverne in poi, a sviluppare il proprio sapere e le proprie conoscenze.
Di conseguenza ci sono argomenti, come quello di oggi, in cui non sono certamente un'esperto (anche se un pochino i compiti li ho fatti...) ogni contributo risultera' graditissimo.

Mi hanno sempre incuriosito, passando di fronte ad alcuni edifici a Las Tunas, Cuba, edifici di diversa natura (associazioni di uccelli, congregazioni, locali adibiti a diverse destinazioni) vedere i tipici simboli massonici.
Tipo “l'occhio” tanto per intenderci.
Queste societa', piu' o meno segrete, mi hanno sempre intrigato parecchio.
Purtroppo quando parliamo di massoneria in Italia, ci riferiamo, anche in questo caso, a situazioni di malaffare.
Gelli, Calvi, tutta la banda di banchieri e faccendieri che hanno dato un robusto contributo a ridurre il nostro paese in questo stato.

Nel mondo, la massoneria e' stata ben altra cosa.
Nasce come societa' segreta per cercare di imporre una visione piu' illuminista del creato, in contrapposizione al pensiero unico dei baciapile ecclesiastici.
Erano tempi in cui se non era simpatico ad un prete finivi sulla carbonella, ad ardere come un ossobuco.
Di conseguenza certi pensieri liberali, illuminati, nati in base a studi scientifici andavano tenuti nascosti, come nascoste erano le riunioni che effettuavano chi la pensava in quel modo.

A Cuba la massoneria e' stata introdotta dagli inglesi, chi ha qualche nozione di storia e dello scisma della chiesa d'Inghilterra nei confronti del papato, capira' che la situazione aveva una sua logica.
Le logge massoniche si rafforzarono con l'arrivo dei francesi, in fuga dalla rivoluzione haitiana.
La massoneria sull'isola e' stata contrastata, ovviamente, dagli spagnoli, da sempre fedeli all'omino vestito di bianco che vive a Roma.
Pero' e' sopravvissuta e si e' sviluppata come corrente di pensiero e libera associazione di individui.

Anche dopo il Trionfo della Rivoluzione i massoni cubani sono riusciti a proseguire la loro opera, ovviamente tenendo conto della nuova realta', non avrebbe potuto essere altrimenti.
Molte famiglie cubane hanno avuto un partecipante a qualche loggia.

Oggi la massoneria a Cuba e' piuttosto sviluppata, in ogni città ci sono piu' logge, anche e sopratutto nelle zone rurali il fenomeno e' evidente.
Probabilmente, come e' avvenuto da noi, anche da loro fraternanza e interessi sono strettamente legati.
Non e' facile entrare in una loggia massonica, non fanno proselitismo, devi per poter sperare di accedere, essere presentato da qualcuno che gia' e' dentro e che si fa da garante per te.
Sono portatori di valori positivi sopratutto nei confronti dei giovani ma, tengono a specificare, non sono una soluzione al problema della mala educazione delle nuove generazioni.

Pur essendo un movimento laico, al pari delle chiese, nei tempi economicamente complicati, hanno ricevuto aiuti dai loro confratelli sparsi per il mondo.
Nulla a che vedere con Dan Brown e i suoi racconti ma, semplicemente, gente che crede in una societa' migliore e che, pur con molte difficolta', ha sempre cercato di dare una visone ottimistica della vita spingendo la gente ad assumersi le proprie responsabilita'.

Situations in which I am not particularly well versed, one cannot be a know-it-all, but which I would like to know more about.
Curiosity is one of the engines that has led man, from the age of caves onwards, to develop his knowledge and knowledge.
Consequently there are topics, like today's one, in which I'm certainly not an expert (even if I've done my homework a little...) any contribution will be very welcome.

I have always been curious, passing in front of some buildings in Las Tunas, Cuba, buildings of different nature (associations of birds, congregations, premises used for different purposes) to see the typical Masonic symbols.
Type "the eye" so to speak.
These more or less secret societies have always intrigued me a lot.
Unfortunately when we talk about Freemasonry in Italy, we are referring, also in this case, to situations of malfeasance.
Gelli, Calvi, the whole band of bankers and fixers who have made a robust contribution to reducing our country to this state.

In the world, Freemasonry was quite another thing.
It was born as a secret society to try to impose a more enlightened vision of creation, as opposed to the single thought of ecclesiastical kissers.
Those were times when if a priest didn't like you, you ended up on the charcoal, burning like an ossobuco.
Consequently, certain liberal, enlightened thoughts born on the basis of scientific studies were to be kept hidden, just as the meetings held by those who thought in that way were hidden.

In Cuba Freemasonry was introduced by the British, whoever has some notion of history and of the schism of the Church of England against the papacy will understand that the situation had its own logic.
The Masonic lodges strengthened with the arrival of the French, fleeing the Haitian revolution.
Freemasonry on the island was obviously opposed by the Spaniards, who have always been faithful to the little man dressed in white who lives in Rome.
But it survived and developed as a current of thought and a free association of individuals.

Even after the Triumph of the Revolution, the Cuban Freemasons managed to continue their work, obviously taking into account the new reality, it could not have been otherwise.
Many Cuban families have had a participant in some lodge.

Today Freemasonry in Cuba is quite developed, in every city there are more lodges, even and above all in rural areas the phenomenon is evident.
Probably, as happened with us, fraternity and interests are also closely linked.
It's not easy to join a Masonic lodge, they don't proselytize, you have to be able to hope to access, be presented by someone who is already inside and who acts as guarantor for you.
They are bearers of positive values especially towards young people but, they are keen to specify, they are not a solution to the problem of bad education of the new generations.

Despite being a lay movement, like the churches, in economically complicated times, they received help from their confreres around the world.
Nothing to do with Dan Brown and his stories but, simply, people who believe in a better society and who, despite many difficulties, have always tried to give an optimistic view of life by pushing people to assume their responsibilities .
