The Natural Pools Of Bajamar / The Lighthouse And The Big Wave! Tenerife Travel Blog
The natural pools of Bajamar were fairly close to our home in Las Mercedes - so we went there pretty frequent after work and Mike even dared to jump in the water couple of times.
But our favorite times to visit the pools were on days with huge waves. It was just breathtaking seeing the waves roll in and break right behind the Bajamar lighthouse. That guy in the video standing so close to the wall got eventually yelled at by the lifeguard.
The Bajamar pools are also a great spot to take in the sunset, since it's perfectly situated for the daily, colorful spectacle.
