"Flowers Awakening"

"Flowers Awakening" is a graphic art of mine that depicts the way flowers respond to the summer sunshine, after a long cold winter.

I think that this is the way I will feel too, after lock-down. Taking a long walk into the fields, far from the city and breathe in a new breath of sheer exuberance.

The wide open spaces with wild flowers and soft breeze, gently easing my brow and bringing in a new season of hope and love.

The art has a hazy, balmy summer feel to it, with ferrous looking tendrils reaching out to the beams of sunshine.
I embossed the white sections, to create interest and depth, so it does not look so flat in the page.

Soft patches of muted green and orange, depict a summer palette and a warm but airy atmosphere.
The sun in the right hand corner, is melting with a warm glow, dripping onto the earth, that longs for its beams to nurture and bring about growth and renewal.
