Sometimes you might come across a video that has too quiet audio even when you turn up your volume to the max. Or maybe your laptop speakers aren't loud enough. Whatever the case, you might wish we could increase the volume a bit more than your device allows. These two extensions help you to do just that. Now, there are a couple of drawbacks. The quality can get worse if you increase it too much. And chrome does not allow you to make a video full screen on the tab you have increased the volume on. Other than that they are good for occasional use.

2. Adblock

The internet is an amazing place. You can gain knowledge and entertain yourself, all for free. But free stuff comes with the price of having to watch ADs. Now ADs are fine if they are well placed and not intrusive since they help content creators make money for their work. But some sites are filled with annoying pop-ups and irritating ads. Sometimes they are even harmful and dangerous to your computer if you accidentally click on them. Adblock is an essential tool to filter your online experience to be safe and unintrusive. It blocks all ads on your browser. Just make sure to allow ADs on sites that are not dangerous or intrusive, so the content creators can get paid for providing you with awesome content.

3. Honey

Honey is a free extension that allows you to apply discounts on products you purchase online through coupons. During checkout, it will check all available coupons on the website and if any coupon works and lowers the price, it automatically applies it for you. This saves your time as you don't have to search for coupons to get discounts. This extension works on Daraz and most other major online shopping sites.

4. Grammarly

This one is obvious for content writers like most people on steemit. Grammarly picks out not only spelling mistakes but also grammatical mistakes from your text. I use it for all of my steemit posts and you should too if you want to elevate the quality of your content and make your message clear, elegant, and professional. As a bonus, it also tells you the "nature" of your post, like "informative", "friendly", "confident", etc. This helps you to gauge the way you write a particular article according to how you want your content to sound to the reader. The base version of Grammarly is free, but you can subscribe to paid packages as well.

Sometimes a site you are trying to access is not loading, or a video is buffering too much. And you don't know if it is a problem from the website server or your internet is getting slow and you should call your service provider. Speedtest is an extension that tells you what your current internet speed and ping (latency) is. Having this in your extensions is much more convenient than having to visit their website each time.
