Greetings Felines and Hoomans of Steemlandia! Hope you are all well today!

It's the weekend, and it is Saturday again... and that means Caturday, my favorite day of the week, even though my Hoomans do do a good job of trying to make all days Caturday!

Here I am, helping the Dad-Hooman do his computer work!

Quiet Times...

It has been a quiet week, here in our household.

The Mom-Hooman got the Covid vaccine and she hasn't been feeling 100% well, so I have been hanging out with her a lot... and the Dad-Hooman has been letting her just have an easy week in peace.

Frankly, I'm looking forward to everyone not worrying so much, all the time!

She's starting to feel better now, so that's a good thing!

Goal Setting for Cats?

I suppose it's a good thing to have some goals and ambitions, sometimes.

I've been thinking about my progress with my cat blog here on Steemit. It has been sort of quiet since the "Daily Pet Photography" community went quiet last year... and the closest thing to a "replacement" so far has been the Fur-friends Community but after a pretty active launch that community has gone very quiet, as well.

It has all made me recognize the importance of communities in the overall process of building a presence and following.

My hope around the turn of the year was to reach 2,000 SP or more by the end of 2021, but it has been pretty slow going, so far. I started the year with 916 SP and I did reach the 1,000 SP milestone and am now at 1,126 SP... but it's still a long way to 2,000!

Perhaps that's also an invitation for me to get more active here; and perhaps for me to cast about for a new "home base" to send my posts to... time to examine some of the more active communities, even if they are not entirely pet-related.
