NEW CONTEST "BEAUTIFUL AUTUMN" for community STEEMIT-GARDEN

Good morning to all members of the Steemit-Garden-Community!

Autumn, at the Balearic Islands, is an ideal time for excursions and walks in the woods or on the beach.
Very close to home, we have the privilege of enjoying a path called "el Camí de l'Horta", it is our little green lung in the village. You can walk or cycle along this path, and the other day we found these beautiful mushrooms.

Buenos días a todos los miembros de la Comunidad Steemit-Garden!

El Otoño, en las Islas Baleares , es una época ideal para realizar excursiones y paseos por el bosque o la playa.
Muy cerca de casa, tenemos el privilegio de disfrutar de un camino llamado "el Camí de l´Horta", es nuestro pequeño pulmón verde del pueblo. Por este camino se puede ir andando o en bicicleta, y el otro día encontramos estas bonitas setas.

It's not very common to see mushrooms in Ibiza, as it rains very little, and even less next to your house...
This discovery made us very excited, especially my son, who still associates mushrooms with leprechauns and fantasy worlds...

No es muy común ver setas en Ibiza, ya que llueve más bien poco, y menos al lado de tu casa...
Este descubrimiento nos emocionó mucho, sobretodo a mi hijo que todavía relaciona las setas con Duendes y mundos de fantasía...

Nature also surprised us with this large and friendly family. Snails are creatures that enjoy humid and cool environments, that's why we will see them more easily after a good rain.

La naturaleza también nos sorprendió con esta familia numerosa y bien avenida. Los caracoles son unos seres que disfrutan con los ambientes húmedos y frescos, por eso los veremos más fácilmente después de una buena lluvia.

Another place I want to show you in the "Beautiful Autumn contest" is the beech forest located in the town of Olot, in Gerona, called the "Fageda den Jordà". The forest grows on a volcanic area and is beautiful in autumn. It is mainly a beech forest, but we also saw holm oaks and other species.We visited it last autumn and it looked like the forest of a fairy tale.

Otro lugar que quiero mostraros en el concurso "Beautiful Autumn" es el bosque de hayas situado en la localidad de Olot, en Gerona, llamado la "Fageda den Jordà". El bosque crece sobre una zona volcánica y está precioso en Otoño.
Principalmente es un bosque de hayas pero también crecen encinas y otras especies.
Lo visitamos el otoño pasado y nos pareció el bosque de un cuento de hadas.

Dry leaves with the colours of autumn... it reminded me of my student days, where we learned to distinguish between plant species according to the shape of their leaves in one of my favourite subjects, romantic like no other... the Botany.

Hojas secas con los colores del otoño...me hicieron recordar mi época de estudiante, donde aprendíamos a distinguir entre especies de plantas según la forma de sus hojas en una de mis asignaturas preferidas, romántica como ninguna...la Botánica.

As well as seeing Autumn on the ground and in the trees, if we look at the sky we can contemplate the best light and the most beautiful skies of the whole year. At the end of September I took this photograph by the sea, on the coast of Cala de Bou.

Además de ver al Otoño en la tierra y en los árboles, si miramos al cielo podremos contemplar la mejor luz y los cielos mas bonitos de todo el año. A finales de Septiembre realicé esta fotografía a orillas del mar, en la costa de Cala de Bou.
