Hello Steemit Iron Chef Community and everyone else reading this post!
I hope you are all doing great! I know we are all going through difficult times because of this Covid19 & Co. But we just need to keep going and think/plan/wish for the best!
I am here today to announce a very important change in SIC community as from today.
But first...let me explain!
Our main goal in SIC Community is to grow big enough in terms of voting power where we will be able to sustain the community without waiting/expecting for the Curators too much...like we are these days!
And this will be possible only if maximum members put hands together...but unfortunately, on the delegation side we haven't yet got the expected amount!
Delegation is one way to grow our community voting power...
Oh well...if only this was easy thing to happen!!!
Only 17 different accounts delegating including me and my wife!
Out of the total of 11,993.89 SP of @steemit-ironchef , I delegated 6,049.785 SP and my wife @creativewoman delegated 276.127 SP!!!
Then we have 3,464.11 SP for @steemit-ironchef account...
This is more than 80% of voting power contribution!
So it is clear : Delegation is not something we can expect too much...we need new ways to be able to have an accelerated growth of the community!
Voting Percentage as per the percentage you've put @steemit-ironchef account on your post as beneficiary!!!
When we include my voting power added to that of @steemit-ironchef, we are at over 16200 SP!!!
A full vote as per Steemworld (a great tool to have when in need of any data/stats on steemit by @steemchiller, check it out!) from our community power is approx. 0.35 usd!
Not a big sum...but still nice to get instead of nothing, right!?
Thanks to the post beneficiary, we manage to get funds for our different contests prize rewards and also grow our voting power.
Actually some members, specially our MODs - are already doing great job to help on all fronts, I wish to salute them!
To encourage members to put @steemit-ironchef at bigger percentage as post beneficiary, we will be applying the below vote support from our voting power as from now :
- Post Beneficiary set at 25% and above = 100% upvote from @steemit-ironchef + my account. And a high chance of getting nominated for booming support!
- Post Beneficiary set at 20 % = 80% upvote
- Post Beneficiary set at 15% = 70% upvote
- Post Beneficiary set at 10 % = 50% upvote
- Post Beneficiary set at 5% and below = 25% upvote
Please do note that the above is not guaranteed, as you need to first have a valid post in the community and also have respected all the different rules and guidelines of the contest you are entering!
With this new way of distributing our daily votes quota, we will surely be left with some votes left to be used and we can't let them go waste...
Our surplus daily votes will go to members across Steemit who are fully supporting #club5050 / club75 / club100 / celebrating #clubdolphin / cluborca and also to the other posts of our moderators and high rated SIC members
Let's put hand together and help us reach over 20000 SP before end of year 2021!!!
And work our way out to be an orca on the platform in 2022!!! Let's say...mid 2022!!!
