Welcome back to Self Defense Situation - Part 84. In this series of posts, we usually talk about different situations and what you can do to defend yourself and get back home safe.

You can control the attacker's movement grabbing his clothes. When you grab the attacker's clothes, he will find it difficult to move and attack you. One thing that you should remember is that grabbing your attacker's clothes is not going to stop him from attacking.

So the attacker can punch, kick, do elbow strike and so on. You grab his clothes, so what stops him doing the same? Nothing! He can also grab your clothes. Now you end up in a different situation. He can control your movement grabbing your clothes as well.

You have to remember and be aware of these things. As soon as you grab the attacker's clothes, you are in a close range. So make your move fast. Do not just grab the attacker's clothes and stay there. Grab his clothes, control his movement and attack him.
