My all-time favorite fruit is the apple, a delicious, low-calorie fruit with tons of healthy vitamins. Don't know where to put a huge harvest of apples? There is an exit! COOKING FILLINGS FOR WINTER for pies
If they ask me what is your favorite fruit, I will answer without hesitation - an apple.

Apple trees have always grown in our garden, old, dry trees were cut down and new varieties were planted.

As a little girl, I liked to eat completely green fruits that were just emerging, I did not feel the excessive acidity of apples and happily devoured them like an apple moth. Over the years, this gluttony disappeared, the excessive sensitivity of the enamel of the teeth does not allow gnawing apples, I eat them with pleasure only when the fruits are fully ripe.

I also love the apple juice, on how to prepare it for the winter without sugar, I already told here , like in our family and pies with apples, how to cook in the winter filling for baking will talk about later.

Apples are low in calories, so they are great for those who "sit" on various kinds of diets. However, few people know that apples contain a rare vitamin G, which is more in these fruits than in any others, it is even called vitamin appetite and therefore, those who are on an "apple" diet should think about whether this diet is so effective?

Apples also contain a large amount of vitamin C, which strengthens the immune system. There are many useful properties of apples, I will not list, there is a corresponding literature for this, however, one must also remember that sour varieties of apples cannot be used by those who have problems with the gastrointestinal tract.

Those who have a large garden with apple trees on the plot have to pick this apple harvest and do something with it. We usually prepare juice for the winter and make pie fillings. In winter, it is very convenient, I kneaded and rolled out the dough, took out a jar of filling and in an hour I have an apple pie ready.

Now I’ll tell you how my mother taught me how to prepare the filling for pies for the winter. It's easy.

We take the apples, wash them, cut them as for pies or jam, place them in a bowl, preferably in an unenamel bowl, so as not to burn, add sugar, a little water and put on fire.

While stirring, we bring to a boil, as soon as bubbles appear, we reduce the fire and then stir it periodically, it usually takes about 15 minutes, depending on the variety and ripeness of the fruit, the apples should soften, but should not fall apart, then put the apples in pre-prepared, sterilized jars, carefully tamp it with a sterile spoon and roll it up with metal sterilized lids, turn it over and put it on the lid under the blanket until it is completely cooled.

A glass of granulated sugar is needed per kg of apples, it is better to let the apples lie down and stand out for the juice, then it will be seen whether water is needed or not, if the juice is not enough, add water, per 1 kg. apples - a glass of water, when laying in jars, we try not to scoop up the syrup.

Apple pie filling recipe for the winter. We take cans with a volume of 0.7 or liter to be fully used for pies.

Usually the output turns out like this - a liter jar will be needed for 1 kg of sliced apples.

I recommend Apples for everyone! Bon Appetit!
