Assalam-o-Alaikum.
Hello friends. How are you all? I hope you all are doing well and having good time with your family and friends. I am @aimmy from Pakistan. Today I am participating in Fruit Photography Competition in "Around The World Community". I hope you like it and will support me.

MY FAVOURITE FRUIT:
My favourite fruit is fig (Anjeer). In the Holy Book of Islam fig is mentioned as "The Fruit Of heaven ". It is an important fruit and can be grown anywhere but mostly grown commercially and at hot , dry and sunny areas. It is available in both fresh and dried form. It satisfy the sweet cravings thats why people are turning back to the use of fig in desert instead of sugar.

NUTRITION:
Fig has many health benefits. Tha major one is that it is naturally fat free cholesterol free food. Fig are a powerhouse of antioxidant flavonoids which include carotenes, lutein, tannins and chlorogenic acid which assist in scavenging free radical and prevents a host of chronic diseases like cancer, diabetes, and reduces inflammation. Dried fig are super rich in minerals like calcium, iron, magnesium, copper , potassium, selenium ans zinc.
It is also an excellent source of;
Vitamin A and C
Calcium
Iron
Potassium
Magnesium
Fiber

REDUCE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE:
High blood pressure, also known as hypertension, can lead to complications like heart disease and stroke. One factor that lead to high blood pressure is a potassium imbalanced caused by eastin to much sodium and not enough potassium.
Fig are a potassium rich food and can help correct that imbalance. Meanwhile high level of fiber in fig can hepl to flush excess sodium from the system.

IMPROVE DIGESTION:
Digestive issue rang from constipation diarrhea. At both at both end of the spectrum increasing fiber intake can hepl. In addition to their high fiber content, However fig add digestion in another way. They are an excellent source of probiotics which improve overall gut health.

INCREASE BLOOD DENSITY:
Fig are a good source of both calcium and potassium. These minerals can work together to improve bone density which can in turn prevent condition like osteoporosis.
Studies suggest that potassium rich diet in particular can improve bone health and reduce bone turnover. Meanwhile calcium is a key structural component of bones and increasing calcium intake has been shown to improve bone minral structure in children and adolescents.

PORTION SIZE:
Figs can be eaten fresh, dried and also in desserts if we want to avoid sugar instead and a number of other different ways like in salad and can be baked.
Although figs are healthy but everything has its limitations and it is important that we should keep in mind that a serving size is one medium fig. The sugar in fig is highly absorbable so we should always be mindful of the amount of figs we eat and also in food and limit ourselves to keep overall sugar intake low.
