Update on the NFT system, and well....all I can say is WOW, for not knowing a whole lot i sure did a great job at filling this unit up! with the exception that most of that green growth is only between 4.5 tomato plants....you heard correct, 4.5! had a clone that actually took off so that's the .5, lol! But seriously though it seems pretty clear tomatoes really can thrive in a hydro set up, even in an NFT like this one! Be on the lookout for future updates and new DIY hydro builds!
