Hello friends of @steembaseball, I want to tell you this time about a person who impressed me when I heard about him. In this process of investigation Chico Carrasquel one of the first Venezuelans in the Major Leagues, it seems as if he was in the 50s under the military government and a prosperous nation as enviable.
Hola amigos de @steembaseball, quiero contarles en esta oportunidad sobre una persona que me impresiono cuando supe de él. En este proceso de investigación Chico Carrasquel uno de los primeros venezolanos en las Grandes Ligas, parece como si estuviera en los años 50 bajo el gobierno militar y una prospera nación pujante como envidiable.
Carrasquel started his sports world in a brewery team in Caracas; if as you read in a team of beers of those of the daily Sundays in Venezuela. Mr. Carrasquel that day gave a home run that would take him to the Professional Baseball League of Venezuela. A feasible question, even I wanted such a feat! However, the most wonderful thing about his story is that he was the first Latin American in the flat history of the BLM to be in an All-Star Game, something that I see as a great goal achieved in a century as questioned as the past. .
Carrasquel inicio su mundo deportivo en un equipo de cervecería en Caracas; si como lees en un equipo de cervezas de esos de los domingos cotidianos en Venezuela. EL Señor Carrasquel ese día dio un jonrón que lo llevaría a la liga de Beisbol Profesional de Venezuela ¡Una cuestión factible hasta yo quería tal hazaña! No obstante, lo más maravilloso de su historia es que fue el primer latinoamericano en la historia plana de la BLM en estar en un Juego de las Estrellas, algo que veo como una gran meta alcanzada en un siglo tan cuestionado como el pasado.
Venezuelans have a high degree of affliction to baseball, while Argentina or Brazil choose soccer, we notably have historically maintained the hegemony of this sport in our roots, and perhaps Chico Carrasquel represents a large part of this that we have achieved as a country.
Los venezolanos tenemos alta aflicción al beisbol, mientras argentina o Brasil eligen al futbol nosotros de forma notable he histórica hemos mantenido la hegemonía de este deporte en nuestras raíces, y quizás a Chico Carrasquel representa gran parte de esto que hemos logrado como país.
Carrasquel will be remembered for being the third Venezuelan in the major leagues, but there are also unique anecdotes such as the 1,355 games he played in his entire life. In these wonderful anecdotes a magnificent fact materializes and that is that the Puerto la Cruz stadium bears his name.
Carrasquel será recordado por ser el tercer venezolano en las grandes ligas, pero también existen anécdotas únicas como los 1355 juegos que efectuó en toda su vida. En esas maravillosas anécdotas se materializa un hecho magnifico y es que el estadio de Puerto la Cruz lleva su nombre.
A man of great Venezuelan achievements who is part of our magnificent history.
Un hombre de grandes logros venezolanos que forma parte de nuestra magnifica historia.
