in Project HOPE4 years ago (edited)

No matter how big or small your business is, have it on the back of your mind that you as the business owner should be able to have your own selling point. People might be asking what I meant by selling point. I simply means a good way to attract customers to your business which will help to see your business yielding profit for you. Since the aim of every business is to make profit, every business owner should seat up tight and adapt a strateyy which they will need in other for them to attract gains to their business. While attracting gains to their business, this selling point will later result in their business being known globally.

Your unique selling point

Your selling point in business is not just to sell your product and service, it is simply the strategies and effort you put in place into ensuring that your business hit apex and in return yield profit for you. When talking are business and it selling point, we should have it on our mind that as our faces are different so is also our business selling point. What I mean by this is that while running my business, I can decided to always remain polite to my customers. You know if you do this, you will attract more sales, more profit and more customers too. If I do this and it keeps working for me, that is my own selling point.

Another person who owns a business can decide to impress his workers by increasing their salaries annually or giving them gifts or rewarding them with cash. If he/she continues like this, the impact will surely show in his business as the workers will surely show appreciations back to their boss by simply dedicating more effort and time to their work. If they continue like this, the business might grow into apex height and the business owner will in return make more money. This is another great business strategy and a good selling point.

Another business owner might decided to invest lots of cash into his/her business. You know when a company is looking so beautiful, financially stable and grea individuals will tend to patronise it. Let me give you an instance. If you open a business with $1000 and another person opens his own with $200000000, which one do you think people will love to patronize more? They will love to patronize the one that starts his business with big money, not because the one that started his own with small money don't have what they want. The difference here is that the one that started his own big will ensure that a lot of things is been put in place. With that in place, it will be hard for you to visit that place and want to buy anything without you coming across it. Secondly, environment will be so beautiful and customers service will be top notch also. Funny enough, their service will be top notch and costly but still yet, people will patronise them.

From the last point above, you will see people going to the business centre just to snap pictures because of the lovely, good looking and beautiful environment. While as for good customers care, you will come across the best service there. They will make shopping easy for you. The other good thing I love about those big companies is that prices are fixed and attached to the body of the product. You don't need to ask for price compared to those small business.

What is your own selling point?

From the above, I have point out different selling point which I know has really helped some business owner in one way or the other, I will be happy to hear about yours.

I feel every business has it's selling point and realizing that selling point is a good way to keep business intact and in good shape.

Yes, for sure all business and human has their own selling point.

Excellent points, I think the fundamental thing is to have satisfied customers and employees, if there is a good working environment everyone will feel good and happy and the work will be done in the best way. Likewise the customers, they always come back to where they are well treated. I believe that these are the pillars of any business.

You are so on point. When your workers and customers are satisfied, then is a win win situation.

Your selling point in business is not just to sell your product and service, it is simply the strategies and effort you put in place into ensuring that your business hit apex and in return yield profit for you.

I think this is also one of the main reason why proper SWOT analysis should be carried out extremely as it tends to factor out what you've written up there. Nice publication!
