I started out by speaking on how digital currencies in general derive their value. Then i went on looking at Akoin by virtue of its digital currency only. Assuming that Akoin had only simplistic parameters and it is not backed by an entire Akoin ecosystem, can it go on to succeed 'price-wise' for investors based on Akon's fame alone?
In the next video (part two), i will go on highlight possible use-cases for the Akoin digital currency by virtue of 'the Akoin ecosystem' that this token will power, in a bid to establish whether these additional factors can improve the value (and price) of Akoin.
Akoin is a blockchain-based project ran by Akon, in his bid to take 'Africa to the world'. However, is the project really for Africa; is it for Africa?
Amongst other things, it is important to know that while "Akoin" is the name for Akon's digital currency, it also refers to an entire ecosystem called 'Akoin'.
Akoin intends to offer an ecosystem that incites, invites and incentivizes 'innovators, programmers, enterpreneurs etc' especially those emanating from Africa, to build projects and applications on blockchain technology. They will also have a layer that offers 'atomic swap' capabilities allowing for easy distribution of Akoin. As importantly, they are building a physical venture called 'Akon city' starting in Senegal, a smart city that is powered by Akoin.
All aspects of their ecosystem will use Akoin (a digital currency), creating dynamic uses-cases for Akoin. As for bringing 'Africa to the world', Akoin is on the right track but to what measure can Akoin be made to be potent for this?
The Akoin digital currency is presented as a utility token i.e with the direct promise of ROI, giving us grander insight into their grand vision
Akoin intends to start their project with the Stellar blockchain. I say 'start' because according to me, there exist a likelihood that they will shift to a blockchain that is specifically built for 'social' or transition on to their own blockchain as it is established based on my insight into the expanse of their vision that they are focused on 'social'.

Oh this is your mindset? I didn’t know. You can ask me to stop, don’t make it perhaps. Where I stop though it will still be of my own volition. A post is seven days open, perhaps you should exercise patience based on your experience on steem and see that if I end of responding or engaging. Perhaps you can see that I have made thousands of comments in the past and loads of engagement and I am ill and slow currently. Altogether I explain this to you cos I didn’t expect this mindset from you based on the other things I have seen of you and yes I look at the past, not just now and the question is do you. I was wondering why several of my posts carry low rating. I was wondering and perhaps it is from your end but that is okay at least now I have an idea. Altogether, if you have experience you will know not to need the entitlement. You are on steem and it provides you the community feature and tools. Say I shouldn’t post in your community cos I haven’t engaged etc, well you are on steem and if I want to post in project hope I will. I don’t owe you any explanation. You can carry out your measures. In the meantime, I have communities. One is ulog, I welcome to post your ulogs there. And my steem wallet area, I invite you to send me memos endlessly. But that is me. You are human and i will value you whether bulls or bears but then again that is me. Your community is cryptorelated that is why I post on there and not for other reasons that may cross your mind. I target the world at large and my efforts look in that direction and I may not not relate on steemit currently doesn’t mean I don’t engage indirectly at the moment via email and at large and those posts are targeted to an audience and Akon who I try to contact with the series which can lead to them having an outlet on steem or hive. Yes I look that far away. I think you shpuld have that much experience by now by your times on steem and perhaps you will bear my post. And well scan steem currently and see several others on steem from those videos and see if they carry interaction etc. there are tons of ways to use steem, your own way here is one way. I have my ways. Too your community, you can say I didn’t stick your rules. Perhaps you should add this new rule to your community so I can stick to that. Perhaps you won’t need to have been here or have given my post low rating but then again I have experience as not to be bothered by that cos I have seen things on here. But for you, I explain these things cos I care about you based on the outlook I have seen of your in my exploration of steem or isn’t it ‘Project Hope’.
