A long time ago I retired from my job as Head of the Information Systems Unit, to dedicate myself to social work and I have concluded that in leadership there are no magic formulas, however something that has left the covid-19 pandemic is the leadership crisis to world level, both in conventional organizations to empires.Many countries have discovered that they have leaders with a lack of humanity and specific strategies. Currently this absence of a leader has impeded the power of a global agreement to face a situation that affects everyone equally regardless of class, ethnicity or color.

It is in difficult times that skillful, effective and above all human leadership is needed most. However, very few are prepared to take on such a challenge in a scenario like the current one. The leader has to organize ambiguity by helping followers create a collective sense of what is happening through transparent and clear, while setting common goals.
For this to take place, it is key to establish a relationship of trust between leader-follower, as it will help followers to maintain their attention and effort to achieve their goals.

Lack of authority and creativity



Many of today's world rulers have power, but no authority over their people. One of the ways in which the leadership crisis manifests itself is the mistrust that many societies show towards those who govern them.Here does not end everything, we have talked about the ruling leaders of nations, but what about the leaders of companies in general, how are they solving and carrying out the task of managing their personnel in the face of this pandemic?It seems that this phase in the Covid-19 world will last their time, until they find a vaccine they say, but the economic consequences will be longer.

It is in these times when a leader must assert the word team, from there comes all the advantages of obtaining good results at the individual level and for the organization.

The external factors that we now face, such as isolation and social distance, the communication skills of any good leader, become even more critical when managing teams remotely, having to have a degree of extreme clarity, being diligent in the face of actions. , show empathy and temperance when acting. Companies are in an environment of uncertainty and have had to adapt in a matter of days to new ways of working, and their professionals need to be clear about the expectations and results expected of they.

Likewise, the ability to reinvent themselves and adapting, very typical of our business model, will be key in the future of the sector.

To understand how a leader should act during the coronavirus crisis, one aspect must be clear: all adversity needs action. That is why a key strategy will be to activate resources, people, create bridges with other communities, with other regions and countries. A good leader must know how to ask for help and offer it. It must be open and create collaborative networks in which resources, ideas, information, etc. flow.

I have been reading a lot in these last days, brochures, guides, online courses of leadership developments at this time, here I have a textile company, and I have been together with my team taking forecasts, doing marketing, online contracting, making masks and special suits, as well as the sale of cleaning products, in this sense we have obtained extra income, and well managed we are doing well.Heart and head: A resilient leader must be empathetic and able to put himself in the shoes of his employees and clients, but at the same time, he must be firm and rational to protect the economic performance of the company.
