There is always an advert somewhere and everywhere telling you about how you can make one million naira within 24 hours, how you can invest and begin to drive Royce within five weeks and so many other ways of making you feel you have to invest with them on time in order to join the league of billionaires. My friends and I call it- Get rich quick scheme.
People fall into this scheme very well because almost everyone wants to enjoy the luxury of money and the benefit associated with living a luxurious life but funny enough not everyone is ready to go through the stress of having to work very hard to get money, everyone likes a life of ease and convenience where money just keeps flowing in but then another question should be do you think it is possible to get rich quick?
I am not one to give the perfect response to the question above but certainly, I am going to give you a few some points in order to allow you make a great decision.
Most of these marketers know how well people love luxury and social media has really helped to build a certain type of mind set that depict that life can only be enjoyed by the rich, these marketers understand your weakness and then they flaunt a very huge apartment with a nice swimming pool and a fleet of cars to impress, this will make you give in the little you have so that it can become doubled and you can enjoy the same luxury they display on their social media pages (you wish), but the story always ends up the same when the nice suited man is nowhere to be found or after following the guidelines you did not make any return.
The circle of losing money has been existing for too long but people keep falling into the same hole, how do you think this happens?
There is a loop hole in our internet browser, remember the last time you tried to check for investment options on the internet, so many other options became available for you to pick from and every day you received other notifications about investment, that is exactly what these scammers use to know that you need a place to make investment and they quickly try to manipulate your mind.
They tell you a story of how they were like you and they have successfully moved from grass to grace with less work, they believe you can too if only you follow the pattern they have laid out, you then invest with them or pay a huge amount just to learn and become like them. There are still schemes like this that pays but very few and I will only advise not to be carried away with the flashy lifestyle displayed, they are just normal people like you and I who are trying to make a living and they are trying to get your money so they can live large also.
Get rich quick schemes are regularly on the rise especially in my country and every single time more people fall for the scheme because it appears promising, we need to realize the tricks and tatics of these scammers in order to stop falling regularly into their plot.
Very right, there is no fast and easy money except it is inherited is what I just like to say.
if it sounds too good, then keep calm and make further researches, get rich quick schemes are getting more enticing, especially with the financial state of the world. people get too gullible and this is how such projects feeds
Inability to calm down and make necessary research makes a lot of people fall victim of scam on a regular basis.

I think that the number of scam schemes sprouting in Nigeria is mostly because the general people are desperate. Interestingly, vast portion of the participants are intelligent; intelligent so much they are aware it's actually scam, but not enough to know they are always going to lose. People need to come to grasp that no real wealth comes by skipping steps.
You are right, some people know it is a scam but they still do it with the idea that it is new and before it crashes they would have made enough from it.
Hello @frederickbangs you are absolutely right the social networks and the web in general is full of such ads and many times they track you through your email if you ever entered an online chat. Knowing people’s needs they implement their strategies, those easy businesses don’t look so good, everything good comes with effort and intelligence.
It is people who want to get easy money very fast that frequently fall into the scheme.
@frederickbangs as we are moving into the more cryptocurrency phase more scheme are available in the market. But we need to do our due diligence before investing in any of them.
The crypto currency system even allows these scammers to hide their identity very well.
I totally agree. People should learn financial literacy in order to know how investment works in a legal way. No short cuts.
