Investing in Real Estate as a Source of Passive Income
Investing is one very good way to grow wealth and one very good investment that a lot of people invest in is real estate. Flipping is also another common form of real estate investing where people buy properties that need repairs and upgrades at a cheap price, repair and upgrade them, and then sell them out at a more expensive amount thereby generating revenue which would cover for the expenses and also have profit.
Real Estate investment trust is investing in companies that go out to invest in real estate. The investor do not have to be directly involved in the company’s affairs and thus the company is required to distribute 90% of its taxable income. People invest in REITs by buying shares in the company, the company buys properties such as malls, and other commercial properties which they in turn rent out to people who will pay for the space. REITs pay their customers in dividends and so the investor is indirectly making passive income. REITs stocks pay higher dividends compared to regular dividend.
Finally, investing is a good way to grow wealth and investing in real estate is a good investment choice. You can invest in REITs, invest in flipping buildings and or invest in rentals of properties for passive income.
