I dont see a fiat-less world for at least the next decade because its a very big step. Fiat has its own importance and not everyone is ok to move in digital. Even govt will not let it happen easily as they are afraid to lose control on economy.

Personally, I don't think fiat should be ditched, cryptocurrency and blockchain technology can help fiat work better, not kill it.
