Instagram Restricting Our Account Without a Reason
A night before yesterday, we uploaded our training photographs on our Instagram account without issues and also liked some of our followers and following photos and videos. Following that, to the greatest surprise at yesterday's evening, I was trying to like a photo as usual and it keeps popping Account blocked dialog box. Though they asked us to click the Tell us link in the photo if we think it's a mistake from them, we did and we still awaiting response or solution.
This is toxic and was not supposed to be! Imagine we wanted to complete an important task at this time the result will all be tragic. We can't really determine what is the reason behind the restrictions. Probably because we are promoting cryptos majorly #Steem and similar Instagram apps like Appics on our account, who knows!?
One of the best reasons why apps on the blockchain are great is the lack of restrictions and free from censorship and also the available alternatives. If one app is down, you can use another app to keep surfing the Steem blockchain. Steem is a great tool but many haven't found out, but soon they will 💯 Recently, the price has been increasing and we've seen some old users coming back, hope this trend continues 😊
@Appics is an Instagram like app. it's a great app to shake off Instagram but huge improvements are needed on the app, onboarding and also make it works seamlessly like Instagram or even more. A hint to Steem D/apps that we have a great potential to conquer these centralized platforms!

I don't think this has happened because you talk about crypto. This account blocking is related to your activity. Small accounts only have like 30 (if I'm not mistaken) actions that they can take in an hour. If you like too many posts or if you follow too many accounts you will be blocked as IG assumes that you paid for it (a bot that likes photos to get you more likes and followers). Once, I was blocked for 7 days and almost quit IG. I was so annoyed as I didn't do anything wrong. I simply didn't know that the actions there are limited.
If it happened for the first time you should be able to work normally within 3 days.
It's a stupid system but there is nothing you can do - you either accept it or leave the platform :)

Yup Yup 🙂 with big differences. On Steem you know you should power up to perform more activity if you run out of RCs ≠ on Instagram, nothing can be done unless you wait 3 days like what @delishtreats said, what a shame!

Ooh! Thanks for elaborating, I didn't know or heard of this before. One again thanks for your input. I will have to wait for three days before we can continue with Instagram and peradventure it happens again, account could be blocked for weeks if not permanently. Perplexing! How crazy that is! It's not easy to quit it because of their huge userbase, I'm sure many will join Steem from their platform with time but before then we will use it as a medium to promote Steem because if a car smashed someone, it’s still a car they will use to carry the person to a hospital 🏥 🙂
I hope you try logging in again after few days.
