I Met My Wife In 1993 ..

We were in High School, We were in love. Over the next 27 years our love would grow, foster, support, change, carry, and bond us. Today as I sit and reflect on those years, it is amazing to me how much we have weathered together and how much we have grown more together from it. We are not the type of people to rush out and buy expensive dinners, overpriced flowers, glittery cards or heart shaped chocolates, but we are into recognizing each other for who we are.. every day of the year.

From Going Steady In High School To Now ..

We had are fun doing those things, and will randomly choose to do them at any given time throughout the year. Just because we choose not to participate in that way, doesn't mean we won't take the time to appreciate our Love today. We will. We'll probably end up taking about those times in our past that made us the happiest. We'll remember the times when we did give each other cards and chocolate. We'll remember the times when our love carried us through, the support we gave to each other when we needed it most, the changes in our lives that brought us closer, and the unbreakable bond we have fostered for so long.

Our Wedding day ...

Tomorrow When I Wake Up ..

I will wake up next to my true love. I will quietly slip out of the bedroom to let her sleep in. I'll get the doggos fed and out for a walk around the yard. I'll pour myself some coffee and sit down to steem a little. We'll do some shopping and go out with friends for a nice dinner and a few drinks. But really, regardless of what happens tomorrow or the next day, I will still be loving her and she will still be loving me. Somethings are not for certain, and tomorrow may never come.. but one thing is, my love for my wife. That will never change. :-)

My art work incorporates a wide variety of subject matter, including landscape, seascape, cityscape, and still life images. My works are the product of a continuing process of exploration through which I seek to portray personal and visionary interpretations of my surroundings. My paintings are impressions of places and events from everyday life, an interpretation of my imagination, and personal responses to what I see and feel on a daily basis. More recently I have invested generous amounts of time into my landscape painting. I am surrounded by natural and man made beauty, which inherently presents itself in the tri-state area, and almost demands that I paint it.

Not everything is art. Art is not everything, but it comes close. Art is everywhere and all the time. Art makes you experience the beauty of the world, the people in it, and the places we call home. Art itself is so influential that it can tell stories, show feelings, and express passion or fury. Art exists in addition to language; expression of sensations and thoughts, revealing a way of thinking too subtle and delicate for words.

For me art requires love, honesty and perseverance. In return, it reveals some personal, non-analyzable, and creative untamed passion. For the public, art with its magnificent beauty, improves mood and health and builds better human beings and communities. It engages the intellect, softens the heart, strengthens the soul and frees the spirit.
