It's good to see that it is all over because I totally noticed it.
I'd say, it's obviously rigged like everything else on here. Nobodies going to engage to receive less than those who engaged less. You can take your less than a one steem bullcrap I got last week and cram it where the sun don't shine.
I would say the only real obvious thing is that the people above on the list do enjoy the Steem Block Chain, and the social interaction. I have over the course of the time since asking to be tracked, (week 19, Feb 11, 2018), have been all up and down the rankings I have not missed making the list once. I came very close in week 54 when I was at number 98 on the list, and week 21 was my highest placing on the list at number 3. So I would have to say your vision of obvious is a lot different than mine.
The majority of the people watching and following are looking at themselves, trying to see where they are where they are going and if they are falling asleep at the wheel.
This is just the top 100 people, I only spoke to 54 different people this week, only 3 accounts spoke to 100 or more different people. So it is very hard to see how this is rigged.
If you want to earn Steem, you can do it through curation,keep comment on whale post and hope for a shiny whale vote, make a few post of things you are interested in, (I am sure there are others that are interested at time in the same things as you), or wait, hope and pray the value of Steem will go up and more people can start voting on comments other than the large accounts.
I post, not often, usually 2 or 3 post a week, I read a lot of post, if I enjoy them I vote and comment on a lot of them, I enjoy a wide range of post, some I just vote, some I vote and comment, but one thing about my comments is they are all real. No coddling of ohh what a lovely picture, when it is a blurry and poor quality picture. I will give my two cents worth of a comment on how the picture could have been better.
So in conclusion: if you want to make more than a one steem bullcrap I got last week you got last week, make a post or two, leave a sincere comment on a post or two, try interacting like a real person at a normal non rave party, start with a nice quiet small dinner party, then maybe try an outdoor barbecue party, then a company party. Don't jump straight to a rave party unless you really have some thick skin.

I've been blogging for years. I put a lot of time not just in blogging but researching the contents of what I read a lot of times, hours worth sometimes, before even commenting. I have been a moderator on quite a few top blogging sites, as well I am listed as a high reputation blogger and top fan on many sites, I know what I am doing. I also know what I was getting by being in the top tier and what I don't seem to be getting anymore being in the top tier, especially making the top ten. I am not an idiot and I don't speak in a negative fashion unless something isn't adding up. I even forgot I joined this league as nothing ever materialized out of it until one day there was a deposit and notification in my wallet of who it came from. Since I had increased my participation I guess I rose up the ranks unknown to myself.....well I guess that was okay to do for a minute but long term I guess not. I am not even sure the tiniest amount I did see even came from the engagement league, I might have gotten it from lucylin which would mean I got zilch for making the top ten. There's just something really not right about that. Unless they got a reasonable explanation for why I no longer see deposits in my wallet they need to be called out for their deception.
As Iโve told you previously, the top 10 are sent ESTM tokens which you can access via esteem surfer on mobile or desktop.
eSteem are the sponsors, and that is their choice of prize.
If you happen to land on a sponsored number, your prize will likely be steem power or SBI shares, and could be worth more than the ESTM tokens.
Anyway, I donโt feel I owe you a single minute more of my time. You are the only person ever to complain on this 3 year post. What does that mean? It means I should not give any fucks about your words.
I don't know how you look up the history of one's wallet past the few days it shows but I remember distinctively it saying you not any esteem, which by the way I tried to look up and there was nothing coming back on the search, deposited steem in my account for engaging. That's the way it went down until the last three weeks not three months as you claimed. I have absolutely no idea what an esteem is, how much a esteem is worth or even if it's worth my time and investment to want to participate to gain one, they could be as useless as trying to argue with Taz for all that matters.
I know you don't give a #*@(, that's how this site operates and why it doesn't grow, you don't like something someone has to say and it's out the door....that is the exact definition of censorship. This is a centralized site that benefits the top players and all their bots.
As I have told you, they donโt appear in the Steem wallet or on the steem-engine wallet.
I also checked how long it was since I was sending 30 STEEM a week out of my own pocket for this contest, which I run off my own back and the data costs me 40 SBD a MONTH to access, and itโs been 3 months. Check the posts each week if you donโt believe me.

The reason for this is that eSteem wanted to replace a weekly vote on my post with their ESTM token.
Considering how much I pay to access the data, and how long it takes me each week, doing this post for nothing is just stupid on my part.

I never asked to be removed and I want my name back on that list. Some weeks I have quite a bit of time on my hands and I want to keep moving forward to prove to others contemplating joining here that the endeavor does not get one rewarded. Each week I make the list week I will make a comment to what it was I didn't get that the engagement league says you should get. Removing me without my permission is censorship further proving what I have said all along, this chain is the furthest one can get from decentralization.
Whose insane when you get, let's see what was it now, .014 steem for making the top ten last week, at least that's all the difference there was in my wallet from the night before, the day of and the day after. He claimed the system changed three months ago....well it wasn't three months ago I was earning 1, 1.5 to 3 steam a week engaging, depending if I made the top ten or got a steem for having zero upvotes, and/or I made a lucky number.....so you tell me what's up with that. Stop with the pathetic it's his own steem....it's fricken what like fifteen cents, I could pick that much up off the ground if I looked down enough during the week and I wouldn't have to spend any extra time doing that since I'd already be on my way somewhere or the other.
Every week it's the same group of players on top and my personal opinion is it's a group of connected people who engage to rig the system in their favor, then someone comes along and gives them a run for their money by ACTUALLY engaging not rigging and they don't like it and change up all the rules where #51 gets #7's reward. It's complete bull crap. That's all the platform is is a cheaters game, it's all built on favoritism or favors, nothings ever going to save this chain, nothing.
Fuck.... the level of entitlement on this platform.
Go and fucking look down all day in the real world too and pick it up then, and leave the people who enjoy the bit of fun that this league provides in peace.
Yeah fun cheating the hell out of everybody else. Even though I gave my votes to someone to vote for the platform there surely are times when I have to admit some of you deserve to have karma come around and bite you in the butt....which is probably what Justin would do.

In these days of turbulence, it's not easy to stay focused... and I find it hard to simply sit still and contemplate writing something "not Steem related" at the moment.
And yet?
As @jaynie alluded to in her recent post, it's the myriad content creators who are responsible for having created the content and community here that make the entire world of Steemlandia something interesting enough that people even want to be involved with this project.
Hereunder... engagement. A community that engages and talks to each other over what they share; not just a wall of monologues, like most blogging sites. I can never get past the fact that I keep other blogs, and I periodically create posts that end up with more than 10,000 organic page views and yet not a single person takes the time to leave a single short comment; even a thank you. That's something we have here, and it's something worth preserving!
Congratulations to @wakeupkitty for remaining so engaged during the storm, and "well done" to everyone else!

It looks as if it was a rather slowish kind of week from the weekly numbers, everything down. I was surprised I made it into the top ten again, but then again, I do like Trauma/Drama. I actually had fewer comments than last week, but some of them were pretty long. Some how I also managed to get 4 post out for the week, I worked on one while listening to an hour and slightly more of a Marky video. I think I listened to more video time this week than I have since joining steem.
Even though fewer comments from me, I did find a lot more things/people to comment on. All the way back to week 83, (June 12, 2019), of the league for hitting 50+ different people with comments. I am also pleased that I found more "Unique" vote places/people, I do like that number trending up so while a little less content posting, I did find new and Unique content to vote on. I think the steempeak communities is helping with that, the finding of new content.
It has been an interesting week no doubt about that, I am sure the upcoming weeks and months will be equally interesting. Congratulation to everyone on the list, even though the weeklies are down a bit, there was a lot of stuff going on.

Same for me, the ura-soul video (check post edits before listening) was interesting, even if what Eli said was post the Tron acquisition.
The numbers are down, especially on comments, but I think we lost some time at the start of the week - none of my votes/comments were sticking for a while. Hopefully they'll rise again next Sunday.
