Avhievement 2: Basic steemit security || @lebutechnosteem

Hello dear friends,

My achievement 1 is veryfied and now I am moving onto achievement 2 which is about steemit's basic security.

Steem it is a blockchain which provides people numerous opportunities to create content and also earn a lil on side but one has to be very careful about security.

Steemit has made it quite easy for us as they provide us several keys for different purposes which reduce the chances of our account getting hacked. But one has to make sure that all his keys are written down at some safe place and nobody else should have access to them.

Question:1 Have you retrieve all of your keys on steemit?

Answer: saving all my keys was the first thing I did after making an account on steemit.

All my keys are save in my phone's notepad and I have also written them in my personal diary.bellow some screenshots-

Do you know all of the keys and their restrictions?

Answer:
I am fully aware of the purposes of every key.

Posting key

Posting key is the most used key.
It is used for basic tasks such as posting, following, like or replying other accounts.

Memo key

Memo key is used for encrypting and decrypting blockchain's messages.

Active key

It is mostly used for wallet purposes such as powering up, transferring tokens and to convert steem into dollars. Its a very significant key.

Owner key

It is a very powerful key. It can be used to recover your account incase, of any mishap. It also allows you to change other keys. Its very important to keep owner key safe, its better to write it down at offline at a safe place

Master key

Now moving towards the last and most important key, Master key is the main key. Master keys enables you to get hold of other keys and your account.

Question 3:

How do you plan to keep your master password?

Answer:
I have written it down in my personal diary which nobody else can access. I have also saved it in my phone.

Question 4:

Do you know how to transfer your steem tokens to other accounts?

Answer:

first of all open your wallet and then click on the arrow head in front of your steem. On clicking it, a drop down menu will appear and you will click on transfer.

Then add the name of the user to whom you want to transfer. Add memo key as well if needed. Bellow tutorial screenshots-

Question5:

Do you know how to power up your steem?

Answer:

I know how to power up steem.
Again, open your wallet and click on arrow head infront of your steem and a drop down menu will appear. Then, click on power up. Bellow screenshots-

add amount to power up then click on power up. Add memo if needed and then click on okay.
