Good day steemians, welcome to my achievement 2 post on the task basic security on Steem.
Security is the state of being safe but when we talk about Steem security it is those keys and password that we used on STEEMIT

Question 1- have you retrieved all your keys on STEEMIT

Yes I have received and retrieved my keys on STEEMIT
The keys are Posting key, active key , owner key, memo key and master key

Question 2- what are the functions of those keys

Each keys has its own functions respectively,

1. Posting key is used to logged in to your steemit account.it is also used in posting , comments , editing . Up voting and down vote , resteeming and following people is down with the aid of posting key.
2. Active key is used for more sensitive task like transferring token, power up or down Steem, SBD conversion and voting for witnesses.
3. Owner key is the most important key. it is used for resetting owner key, posting key and active key.it is used in account recovery.
4. Memo key is for reading encrypted message and for sending encrypted message via steemit.
5. Master key is also known as seed . It is used to generate all other keys.

Question 3- what is my plan to keep my master password.

Knowing well that if I missed my keys especially owner and master key my account cannot be recovered. I have create a folder that no one could think of and store my password there. I also back it up with my email. I also have a hard copy of it.

Question4- Do you know how to transfer your Steem token to another Steem user

Yes I know how to do that. The steps are

1. Go to my wallet
2. Click on the down arrow near the number of Steem token
   
3. Click transfer
   
4. Enter the name of account you wish to transfer for.
   
5. Enter the amount
   
6. Enter your memo key
7. Click on next
   

Question 5- Do you know how to power up your Steem

The steps are

1. Go to my wallet
2. Click on the down arrow next to number of Steem token
   
3. Click on power up
   
4. Enter amount
   
   4.click on power up
