Hello steemians.....

About me:

My name is Gideon but friends call me uty. I am from a state that is located in southern part Nigeria called Akwa ibom state. I am 19 years old, tall in height and light skin in complexion in a loving family of 4. Daddy passed when I was 13, while mommy is a teacher. I'm a student and also a self learning photographer/artist, striving for much improvement in every practice that I attempt although i still work for clients as well.
My major hobbies are photography,playing piano and drawing...

Ohhh!! Almost forgot, dancing is part of my hobbies although I don't do that regularly since I always focus much on how to improve my skills on photography..

How I got to know steemit:

I got to know this amazing platform through the help of my art friend @richmondgodwin when i met him promoting this platform at a provision shop that I like purchasing my things. I was in a hurry so he gave me a flyer and encouraged me to brows more about steemit and register as well.. When I researched about steemit online, I was astonished to see that such an amazing site that rewards users for writing nice contents really exist.

A sunny day but @richmondgodwin happily promoted steem to me 🤩🤩

Through his guideline, I've successfully register on steemit of which I'm happy to be a user and also carry out this my achievement 1 post through his mentoring too. I have never use mark down writing techniques. @richmondgodwin took time to teach me of which I’ve been able to apply them on this post. He said that he learnt that after completing his achievement 4 task as instructed by @kryptokannon and some from coordinator Mrs. @ngoenyin during a weekend zoom meeting and @davosimple as well. Special thanks to you all for passing down this amazing skills of which he has share with me too.
Lastly, he told me that my state coordinator is a user by name Mrs. @ngoenyi and advised that I should always reach out to her for assistant/advise in case I have a challenge on certain things.

Checking on steemit, I have seen several communities that I will like to be posting on which includes; @steemalive, @steemkid, @campusconnect, @worldofxpila etc. This have really motivate me to fasten up and double up my writing and drawing skills so that I'll be posting nice contents too.
Although I'm a new user with lesser knowledge about steemit, I can still remember that @richmondgodwin told me something Steem Power and benefits of having more. Owing as many as I can will be my major targets so that I'll be supporting communities and manage my own community too.
plagiarism is an offense on steemit, @richmondgodwin keep telling me that of which I've seen it after visiting various communities to read posts.
Lastly, I'll happily tell others about steemit just as @richmondgodwin promoted it to me so that they will become a user too. Hoping to see @promotesteem welcoming and appreciating my promoting efforts.
