Achievement 4 by @francisxayvier:Markdowns
Hello everyone, welcome to my Achievement 4 post.
Here we will be talking about markdowns and how to apply them.
What are markdowns
According to Wikipedia
"Markdown is a lightweight markup language for creating formatted text using a plain-text editor."
HISTORY OF MARKDOWNS
Aaron created "the true structured text format" in 2002.
Swartz and John Gruber created the Markdown text format intending to make reading and writing simple.
SOME EXAMPLES OF MARKDOWNS
MARKDOWNS | EXAMPLE |
---|---|
Subscript | H2O |
Code | Water, Water |
OTHER EXAMPLES OF MARKDOWNS INCLUDES:
- QUOTES
"Money can't buy happiness"
- TEXT ALLIGNMENT
Money can't buy happiness yet it's better to cry on a yacht than on a public bus.

CONCLUSION
The invention of markdowns has helped to improve writing structure in various ways. This includes arrangement, orderliness, clarity, and differentiation. The above writings has a series of markdowns applied and these includes:
Headings, centered headings, alignment, subscript, quote, code, link, and justification. Having met the criteria of applying a minimum of five markdowns, I plead to be verified.
