As instructed by @cryptocannon, achievement 3 here explains what we understand about plagiarism within the steemit.

What is plagiarism?
If the ideas, thoughts, images, language of someone other than themselves are represented as their own, we call it plagiarism.

What are the different kinds of plagiarism?

  1. Direct Plagiarism
Direct Plagiarism is the practice of highlighting / representing the original content without changing a word, letter or quote. This is a very serious and harmful robbery. This is included as intentional theft and the original owner can take disciplinary action.

  2. Mosaic Plagiarism
Mosaic Plagiarism is the practice of obtaining phrases similar to the author's language when a person obtains phrases from another place without using pronunciation marks.

  3. Self Plagiarism
This is often a copy & paste robbery between students in schools and universities. It does not take serious legal action but affects activities such as assignment, paper, presentation etc.

  4. Accidental Plagiarism
Accidental piracy is the act of copying a paragraph or sentence directly from a source without naming it as an excerpt.

Plagiarism is an unprofessional. This is because it is a legally punishable offense for us to pretend to own something that belongs to others. Nowadays this often happens through the internet. No one will accept it as a good deed. Doing so will have bad consequences for us.

Effect of Plagiarism
Poor and lazy presentations.
Being one that has been presented before.
Receives low or low scores.
Indicates his / her bad temper.
You can also opt out of this platform.

How to quote something correctly without plagiarism?
• The author should be given the original rights.
• If it is a memo, photo or document that we are downloading, the source should be mentioned below it. It gives respect to the author and helps the reader to find more information.
• Otherwise it shows up as one of ours.

Submit all submissions legally. You will then find that the satisfaction you feel when you create something with your own ideas and words is happier and more professionally accepted than stealing and presenting something.

I understand the etiquette of steemit well and promise to do my best to grasp them tightly.

Thanks to @cryptocannon for helping me complete my achievement 3.

Thank you😊
