Achievement 6 Task by @aamir07: Understanding Curation and Cumminity
I have read the lecture on curation and voting mana, and understood the procedures taken by curators in voting and also the rewards curators and authors get on posts.
I am so grateful to @cryptokannon for sharing her knowledge with us.
Q:How voting and curation work in steemit?
- I’ll try to explain what i learnt so far.
When you like someone’s work,and you want to appreciate it,you have a tool in hand that is upvote.
There is a definite value for your upvote that is proportionate to your steam power.The more steem power you have more will be your upvote value.With every vote you cast your voting power decrease by 2%.
Good thing is that voting power keeps on recharging at the rate of 20% per day .So if you want your voting power to be hundred percent at the end of the day have to cast only 10 votes per day.
This is what happens to voting power after every vote
If your steem power is less than 500, 100% of your vote strength will be used when you upvote but if SP is greater than 500, you can adjust the percentage of vote.
Among all the rewards that a post gets ,50% of payout goes to the author of the post known as author reward and 50 % goes to those who voted on the post this is called curation reward.
Curation reward is paid 100 percent towards steem power whereas author rewrard depend on authors preference at the time of posting (may be 50/50 steem /SBD or may be 100% power up) .
Q: What happened if you vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting?
Voting on posts before five minutes decreases curation reward, that is, the reward that you were anticipated to get after post pay out.So don't harm yourself by being in hurry while voting. Have patience for at least five minutes.The sooner you vote, the lesser rewrds you get.

I would vote for @steemchiller for steemworld
@justyy for steemyy . They have developed some wonderful tools, so they deserve to be supported. Similarly among the others, I will have to look for their contributions..
Q: Which community will you join in Steemit, and why?
Firstly I’ll be joining the newcomer's community and Steemit nursery because being a newcomer it will be not easy for me to survive here without the support and guidance of some great mentors and I don’t think there’s any other community that supports newcomers as newcomers community do..
Secondly, I’ll join the world of xpilar, account booster and stock photos community where i can share my photography with other steemians.
The reason why I joined other communities is their purpose of creation suits my interests and i will enjoy posting and curating in these communities

Sir,i gave my 100% in completing every achievement here,but unfortunately from the beginning i got a rate of 2,and neither any greeter nor greeter helper point out the mistakes i am doing for what i am not getting full rating,for that i am a bit disappointed otherwise it has been a great journey here.
Getting full points can be done by following the writing guidelines. Keep it up, you can write other things in the community and it will get a big curation. Game diary for example.
