Due to the lack of various nutrients in the human body, there are various diseases, and if you get the right medicine, you will get well again. I think suicide is also a disease of human life. It can come back from this path if you get the right guideline. Especially since the time of Corona, the tendency of suicide among people is increasing daily. People make this wrong decision when they lose faith in themselves due to unemployment, not getting a job according to their qualifications, Commodity prices increasing, marital discord in the family, loneliness, etc.

This decision will never benefit him or his family. Rather share with friends. Sharing with family members can lead to the right path. One can approach a psychiatrist and follow his advice to get rid of suicidal thoughts and lead a normal life.

According to a WHO report, Bangladesh ranks 10th in terms of suicide rate. Every year about 13-64 thousand people commit suicide in Bangladesh. The tendency of students to commit suicide is high. Especially at the age of 13-19, the tendency of suicide is high. In 2022, a survey was conducted in various educational institutions in the country. It can be seen that 364 students of educational institutions committed suicide between January and August this year. Among them, 194% were talented students going to school.

I am sharing with you one such incident that I have seen. A class 10 student of my neighbor committed suicide on April 27 this year. The girl's name was Ratri. He was the only child of his parents. He was a quiet and brilliant student. Suddenly I came to know that the girl committed suicide on the evening of the 27th. The mother became crazy after losing her only child.

A few days later I came to know that the girl stood fourth in the annual examination. She was reading books all the time thinking that she should stand first and get GPA 5. He did not talk to anyone. I think, the girl was suffering from loneliness and depression so she took the path of suicide.

It is very difficult to accept the death of Ratri. If you want to build a beautiful life, you need an education. But to get an education, a healthy and normal life is needed first. Getting GPA 5 is not the only goal in life. A beautiful future for children is the wish of every parent. Along with busy work, the child should be given time. It should be observed where the child goes and with whom he mingles. It should be expected to go out with the child to a pleasant place once every month.

Parents should become children's friends. Along with reading and writing, the child should be associated with singing/dancing/reciting/drawing. It develops the mind of the child. If Rati's parents had been a little more aware and consulted a psychiatrist, Rati would not have taken this wrong decision. His parents do not lose children. And she would have had a better world.

As the saying goes, suicide is a great sin and goes to hell. Not only teenagers but adults make this wrong decision. Many families torture the bride to collect dowry money. Unable to bear the torture, suicide is the last way to escape. Suicide can destroy the entire family. Everyone should be aware of this social disease. The government should come forward against this dowry system.
