MY APPEAL TO ALL STEEMIANS

Before anything else, let us all help #steemitphilippines and #steemit as a whole to grow each day, by engaging in different contests and challenges that would somehow reward the participants thus encouraging them to be active again after a long time of being inactive.

We should be proactive in commenting and re-steeming posts if not yet capable of upvoting considering our low SP.

And I'm glad I see some who are coming back to #steemit.

As the platform with some particular community like #promosteem is doing their best to promote #steemit and invite new members, we should not forget those who were once active here who are just waiting for our invitation also.

MY WAY TO PROMOTE #STEEM #STEEMIT

Holding a contest like this with my own resources as the source of the prizes is my way to promote #steem #steemit and encourage old members to actively participate in this platform and invite new members to join #steemit.

SHORT REPORT ABOUT THE CONTEST

This contest runs from May 6 - 12 and I would like to thank all who participated in my latest contest. I can't contain the happiness I felt for the positive and overwhelming response of those awesome steemians from my own country Philippines.

If only I got more resources I would really pick extra winners as opposed to what I had originally announced during the launching of this contest. Or perhaps increase the prize, but unfortunately I can only afford to give the amount as stipulated in my contest post this time.

I got 18 entries, a relatively high number of partakers so far in all the contests I had hosted in the past. Maybe it’s because I only require 100 words compared to my other contests wherein a participant has to create a post with not less than 2k words.

Talking about 100 words, I did read all the entries twice each of those 18 entries to be exact just to be able to select the best among the best, and truly I found and a lot of wonderful entries but unfortunately most of them did not comply with the 100 words requirement. I saw some made 98 words short of only two words to qualify. Some also submitted a 102 words post, again 2 words over the required number.

My message here is that there are a lot of contests hosted by prominent steemians with huge prizes and typically mechanics or rules are being set. Now even if how hard we tried if we don’t follow rules chances are we will never win.

I am not really looking for pictures of old phones, what is important is how you create a story out of your mobile phone and perhaps how you presented a photo of your phone.
