Great Treats with my Food Buddies

This place would surely be a great place for a hungry stomach. A night food market where local eats and treats were served from their kitchen right straight to your table. Locally known as Mercato de Mactan, it is located in Soong II, Casanta, Lapu-lapu City. It will open its door to the public from 4:00 pm-12 midnight. There are a variety of fantastic and delicious foods that will surely satisfy your cravings at a very affordable price.

Our first try at this place was very remarkable. Though Covid-19 was still present, it still didn't hinder us from gathering great memories as a family. One of the bonds that will surely satisfy us and could totally make us happy is eating. So as we decided to fulfill our cravings, we went to Mercato De Mactan which is a stone throw away from our place. Also, it is unusual for us to dine in this kind of place because we are used to dine in fast food chains. Not so crowded since only a few numbers of visitors are allowed to enter by that time. Good thing is that there are no restrictions for children too. Seeing different kinds of foods on the menu is a very exciting and a mouth watering thing ever. You would probably be confused on what to eat since everything was just perfectly amazing and by just smelling the aroma of cooked foods, you could probably say that it was a delicious thing to eat. I ordered sweet and spicy buttered shrimp and rice with egg toppings. I chose shrimp because it was my all time favorite and I wanted to try another menu of shrimp with a twist that is something sweet and something spicy. However, my partner ordered pork barbecue and chicken barbecue and rice with egg toppings on it and free soup. We didn't miss to order our favorite milk tea with winter melon flavor in a large size that would complete our meal. Right after we chose our meals for the day, we went directly to our table to patiently wait for our ordered foods. Few minutes later, our food was already served and we started eating and enjoying the food that we had chosen.

After satisfying ourselves with a great meal, we roam around the corner. We Checked every edge and were very mesmerized by how beautifully they decorate the place. They installed lights that would make the place something romantic. We paused for a while to take pictures in the captivating corners of the area so that we may reminisce the moment when it will become a memory through seeing our pictures. That ended a very great experience for the whole family. Eating together as a family, wandering together as a family and exploring things together as a family is such a treasurable thing that is worth cherishing for a lifetime.
