The movie "Lifted" is my favourite movie.

Before i begin the narration on the story line of my most loved movie, i would love to give you an insight into the main characters.

I love this movie so dearly, if you have watched it before now, you would agree with me that it is very emotional and highly inspirational.

This movie got the highs and lows for me. The high part with all the genuine love and happiness, while the lows with the losses, heartbreak and tears.

I have watched movies, but Lifted has got to me my best, i never felt the way i felt watching this movie with any one.
The best parts i love is the talents, raw real talents being displayed coupled with Good Music i literally had to go and search online and luckily they were available for downloads .

The most amazing thing is, most of these songs were actually written, composed and sang by the star actor, Henry Matthews (Uriah Shelton).

StoryLine •••

The movie opens up revealing the family of the matthews having breakfast together. They seem happy and sing a song as the scene ends. The couple; Williams and Lisa are so into each other and have a little son called Henry.
They lived together happily...

Williams works in a garage, Lisa attends drug-addiction group, Henry is in middle school and repeatedly suffers in the hands of bullies which leads him running to the baptist church and gets closer to the pastor. They started doing songs together and he discovers a great singing talent in Henry making him take a liking to Henry and always protecting him from bullies.

Untill one day when Williams got a letter from the military requesting him to report to Afghanistan for a war to defend the country, it was really a tough decision to make being that he would have to be away from his family. He told Lisa and she was heartbroken, Henry on the other hand didn't take the news well, but his father managed to cheer him up as they sang away together.

Williams leaves for Afghanistan, while away tries to communicate with his family. Over here things became really difficult for Lisa, they were loosing the house and had to go and stay with Lisa's father who hated his grandson Henry and mistreated him.

Henry is shot dead by an Afghan woman. Somehow, Lisa manages to hear, she is broken and can't deal with the sudden turn out of events, she returns to doing drugs and becomes a shadow of herself unintentionally neglecting her son who now feels unloved coupled with hatred from his grandfather who never let him sing.

Unaware of his father's death, Henry finds hope in a music competition, where he showcases raw talent amongst other contestants.

All the while his father's spirit is with him.

Henry later finds out the truth and is shattered, he strives through the contest through his father's friend and by chance wins the competition.

Lisa and Henry live a better life.
