Welcome to Saturday and the weekend! And Saturday means Caturday, my favorite day of the week... and time to post pictures of cats, cats, cats!

It's good to have a place to be up high!

We had a mostly nice sunny day today... but around here, you just never know what you're going to get during the month of April!

While it was nice and sunny — although cold and windy — some friends who were barely 15 miles (24km) away and on their way here... sent this picture:

And they were not going over a mountain pass, either! We thought they were joking, but the Dad-Hooman checked the highway department's "road cameras" and they confirmed the sudden and very local snow- and hailstorm.

The white stuff was all gone in a couple of hours, but it was still strange!

Smudge is happy we're having sunshine!

Meanwhile...

It's a busy weekend for us because we have houseguests... in the form of the Hoomans' adult children visiting from Seattle.

I don't mind that so much... but the Daughter-Hooman has two dogs and that I am not very fond of! I mostly escape to safe hiding spots in closets, or on my cat perches where I am up high.
