Hello guys. Good morning to you all I hope you all had a wonderful night rest. Yesterday the admin @focusnow posted about moving to telegram and he droped the link of the telegram chat. I guess everyone must have joined already because we have started chatting over there now. So i want to teach all steemalive member or steemit generally. I'm sure most of us uses telegram and wonders how your data consumes fast. Just read this article and you will enjoy your telegram with low data.

HOW TO REDUCE DATA USAGE ON TELEGRAM

There are just few steps in doing this. All you have to do is to login to your telegram and click on three line parallel to each other when you login to your telegram

After you have clicked on that it will bring different options for you so you will go to settings

CLICK ON SETTINGS

When you have clicked on settings it will bring another set of options for you so you go for data & storage

CLICK ON DATA & STORAGE

After that it will open the page we need all you have to do here is to off all automatic downloads for videos images and gifs and auto play also as you can see in the screenshot below

OFF ALL AUTO DOWNLOAD AND AUTO PLAY

By following the above stated procedures you have successfully reduced your data usage and you can use your telegram with low data. You will only chose media you want to view. But without this procedure all media sent to the group will be downloaded automatically.

CONCLUSION

I urge all steemalive member to follow this procedure and reduce their data usage. Some of us must have done that but i know most are new to telegram so if you are new on telegram you should follow this steps.
