Do you have trouble controlling your anger? Learn how to control it before it controls you.

Many people today find it hard to control their anger. Some get angry at the slightest mistakes from others while others lose their temper when they are greatly offended, they may even vent such anger on innocent parties such as children wives or others. Whatever the case, uncontrolled anger can be dangerous.
Well lets review some of the effects of uncontrolled anger.

EFFECTS OF UNCONTROLLED ANGER

When anger is not controlled it may lead to heaith problems such as

  • Headache
  • Abdominal pain
  • Increased anxiety/depression
  • High blood pressure
  • Stroke
  • Heart attack and many more.
    Since uncontrolled anger can be dangerous it will be wise to learn how to control our anger

HOW TO CONTROL ANGER

  • Wait before reacting.
    When someone or something offends you, do not say the first thing that comes to your mind instead wait so that you won't say things you will later regret.

  • Expand your view
    Sometimes we may get angry because you see only one aspect of the issue. So expand your view, try to consider the other side of the story.

  • Walk away. It may be best to simply walk away from a volatile situation. This may help to avoid the quarrel that might have broken out.

  • Get active. Exercise can go a long way to help relieve anger. Do things you enjoy doing,maybe hobbies or passion

  • Learn to let go. Sometimes we may need to just overlook an offence. This may not be easy but it can help us. We should not let others see that we are provoked by them because when we do we are only showing them they have won over us.

  • Instead of venting your anger on innocent mate or children, speak to a trusted friend. A good friend will not let you down.

Make a goal.
Instead of concluding ' that's just the way I am' you need to try and improve in a specified period of time.
Make a record as in the sample below:

When we are able to control our temper we will more happier, our family will be happy, we will have a good relationship with people and we will improve our health.
