STEEMIT PROMOTION||THE GRAND FINALE OF TEAM GOAL GETTERS STEEMIT MEETUP/MEMBERSHIP DRIVE WAS MASSIVE WRITTEN BY @lazbless 10%PAYOUT TO STEEMALIVE

Greetings my fellow Steemians. Hope we're all having a great time. Hope this weather isn't affecting anybody, lolz. I'm welcoming you once again to my blog as I bring to you my report. Enjoy your reading.

This report is about a special and unusual way of Promoting Steemit initiated by my outstanding Mama @ijelady in Team Goal Getters. Before the grand finale of this project, some days was set aside for massive and non-stop Promotion where we went out everyday, telling students of the university of Uyo and other passerbys about Steemit.

Some of the reasons for this Meetup were as follow;

• The Meetup came as a reminder to both the old Steemians and the newbies that Steemit is the way and it pays to be a Steemian, it was to encourage those who has relent effort to light up their candles for Steemit and keep it burning.

• It was for us to get to know ourselves, as the name implies Meetup. It was for all the Steemians to come together, Meet each other and discuss on how to take Steemit to the next level.

• It was a form of enlightenment to the newbies. Many newbies turned up and they got to hear testimonies, life testimonies from other Steemians and they were enlightened.

The aim of the meeting were as follows;

• Initially the target was to have 100 sign ups. Although we couldn't get to the target but we had many newbies who signed up and started their achievement tasks.

• Secondly the aim was to figure out a way to make people not just sign up and disappear but also to sign up and mentain as an active steemian. This aim was accomplished because Steemians who came out for Promotion after this Meetup got increased.

Testimonies were shared live and direct. People got to listen to the testimonies and were enlightened.

@prudent gave his own testimony of how he didn't have a smartphone before joining Steemit but Steemit later gave him one which he showed to everyone. He also testified how Steemit helped his sick father within a blink of an eye. People kept their eyes opened while listening to this testimony because they didn't believe Steemit to be like a place where someone could find shelter in rainy days.

@nsikakedem also testified how Steemit also gave him a new phone, he said he got the phone some weeks back and he showed it to everyone. Everyone got to testify of the benefits of Steemit and this went a long way in giving hope to the newbies.

Another special activities which took place was awarding some Steemians who deserved the awards.

The following Steemians were awarded;

• The best writer
• The best contributor to the team
• The most active steemian
• The most recruiter which none other than @mesola
• The Steemians who participate most in contest which was of course @chichieze, she no de carry last for contest, lolz.

This was really encouraging and they awardees were all smiling while others determined to put more effort so they could be awarded next Time

Lastly, we cut our beautiful cake Which was made with Steemit design

We shared the cake together with food and drinks, everyone ate and was happy. It was equally more than enough for everyone. At the end of it all, we went back home while some stayed back to be signed up and some also stayed back to do their achievement tasks.

I thank God for making this day a success, thank you my able and outstanding Mama for always coming up with beautiful and unique thoughts concerning Steemit and I want to let you know that we're always behind you, Everytime. A very big thank you for all the Steemians who could make it for the Meetup. Long live Steemit, long live steemAlive.
