Hello great steemians, great. It's good for me to be here diagnosing what and how our leaders have been improving, implementing and serving the supposed of developments in our different cities and States in this country called Nigeria.
This will help us to know how much and how far our government has been serving the interest of it's citizens.

In this contest I will be looking into 4 or 5 of our precious Institutions, namely :

*Opobo junction daily market Aba.
*Aba Town Hall, Aba Enyimba City.
*Nigerian Postal Service, Aba
*Nigerian Television Authority, Aba

OPOBO JUNCTION MARKET OGBOHILL, ABA CITY:

The Opobo junction market is a daily market that traders and buyers come to buy and sell everyday. It has many branches. Good items, electronics, clothes and so many other things numerous to mention.

The market is a serious sort after because many villagers bring and sell many of their wares to this market, even resellers are also many here.

ABA TOWN HALL ENYIMBA CITY:

Aba my city is in Abia State Nigeria in the south east of the country, Nigeria. Aba my city is situated along the bank of the river at the intersection of roads that leads to port Harcourt, ( River State), Owerri in IMO STATE, Umuahia which is the state capital, Ikot Ekpene in Akwa ibom state and Ikot Abasi in Opobo land.

The state of Abia where my city Aba is found was created in 1991 from IMO STATE, and she just turned 30 years old recently.

Aba Town Hall is for public lectures, meetings, wedding ceremonies and many other things people would want to do. This town hall's logo which is elephant gave my city the slogan Enyimba.
Aba City is nerves center and a commercial city in my state, Abia State. This edifice is owned by the the state government of my state. It has offices where people render services like business of stationaries and other things.

THE ATTACK OF END SAS SAGAR

Look carefully you will see how the beautiful edifice was faxed down, vandalised by the angery unknown mob. The state government is yet to re build this valuable institution.

NIGERIAN POSTAL SERVICE

The Nigerian postal service in which Aba my city has a branch was established in the year 1852 by the colonial masters ( NIPOST) in brief. This is a government institution providing postal administration and services.

  • Mail services
    *Counter services
    *Private mail boxes
    *Postal medias

WHAT DO THEY DO

*Dispatch outgoing sorting of mails
*Delivery location by their dispatch staff both in the urban and rural area.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, the posts services was booming many years ago but today the arrival of Internet technology has changed the narrative. Almost everything in done online both buying, selling, sending and receiving of mails. The building is delapitated nothing at all is happening there.

Thank you all for reading and commending about the government of the day either good or bad.

Thank you my brother na so we see am at the Nigerian postal service, online activities has totally killed NIPOST.

Beautiful entry.

It is known that the staff strength in the whole federation is up to 20,000 with the post offices up to 5,0000 in Nigeria.

I didn't know we have up to this number of post offices in this country. And their staff strength is overwhelming too.

Yet all those has gone down the drain, because of none maintenance characters of our leaders. It's a pity.

All postal office in the country lack maintenance, this Is the state of postal office in Nigeria. I see big structure but to maintain them is a case and I can't help to wonder why? I also went to a postal office during my tour, what I saw was an eye soar, even with the fact that I live in the capital city yet it's the same big building no maintenance. It's well with our dear nation.

That time of end sars was a trying time for Nigerians. Thank God we survived it. Well done on tour

In conclusion, the posts services was booming many years ago but today the arrival of Internet technology has changed the narrative.

Technology has really changed everything and i think its a welcome development.
I just fear it won't affect us in the future the way am seeing it.

Nice write up. Continue creating quality post.
