You have probably heard about SteemAlive Marketplace, a new project that aims to promote the use of steem as means of payment in transactions within our local community. People within our community buy goods and pay for services everyday. They use fiat. How about making them buy products from fellow members in the community and pay them using Steem - thereby promoting both steem and community members businesses? That is what SteemALive marketplace is all about.

So with regard to the marketplace, I have decided to launch a brand new project called Steem Jewelry Shop! What is it?

Steem Jewelry shop is a local business that sells jewelry and related products to local buyers. I have done this business years in the past and I have experience in it. But like some other things I did, I left it since 1 year now. I already built a database of customers spread across 5 Whatsapp groups. When I thought about a way to promote Steem to my old customers, I discovered I could sell Jewelry to them and accept payment in Steem. So Steem Jewelry shop will try attract the masses of Jewelry lovers by offering them fine Jewelry and accepting steem payments.

How to buy Jewelry from the Shop

@ninapenda and @samuel20 have been working fulltime with me in the Aba center. They have been of immense help in this project. @ninapenda helped us to capture some product images today. These product Images would be published in a post - starting from this one - with the prizes in Steem. Anyone that is interested can order Jewelry from us and pay in Steem. We will then ship the products using steem branded gear. Of course the customer will also take care of shipping unless otherwise indicated. We will make our prizes really competitive. Available products would be sampled at the bottom of this introduction post. We will also drop the link our our Whatsapp page so that interested customers can join and receive more updates. Our website would be ready within the next 14 days.

Marketing Plan and Customer Incentives

We will utilize social media marketing to get our customers. Ofcourse, we are not just here to sell Jewelry. We want to use this business to attract new users to Steem since it will be possible to pay for jewelry from steem earned while creating and publishing content on the Steem Platform. We also hope to take advantage of our growing numbers in the community many of whom are female. We hope to drive the mass users of Jewelry products to Steemit at the end of the day.

We will also do special discounts, and promotions to repeat buyers. Of course, we will also reward our first customers in some way through steem and other coins used on this platform. We are really working hard to create a local economy where steem becomes a currency used and accepted by all parties.
