"INTRODUCTION"

I am currently studying in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in "Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University,Dinajpur". I am a member of the departmental organization "EEE club of HSTU" .The club always organize some charity program, programming contest, project showcasing contest, robotics, seminar, symposium etc. In its continuity, the club organized a charity program for the relief distribution for flood-affected people. As an active member of the club, I tried my best to conduct the program succesfully.

"PREPARATION"

For successfully organizing a charity program,It's a must to have a correct plan. So, our honorable teachers and the committee members organized a meeting first.First question was - "Where will we conduct this program??They fixed that the place will be at Fulchori in Gaibandha district. This area was great affected by the flood and people were leading a miserable life. Then we started taking donation from all possible sectors. We were divided into some groups to collect the moneys. Our job was to collect money from the "Chourongi" and "Terminal" area.. We visited almost every flats and hostels to collect money. We collected around 4500 tk (300 steem). At the end of the day, We collected a toatl of 35000tk.Our honorable teachers donated almost 15000 tk(1000 steem). So we had a total of 50000 tk(3333 steem). We decided to allot 125tk(9 steem) per person. So we could distribute items to 350 people.Thats a good amount I think. Then the main task started. Marketing!!! The job was done by our seniors. My job was to print a banner for the program. We made a banner(18 square inch) of the program. Now I will describe the next activities...

We tried our level best to help maximum people. Its great feeling to put smile in some families.Hopefully we will do more charities with a larger scale in future.Pray for me...
