Assalamu alaikum to all steemians of Teachers & Students community. Hope you all are well. May Allah bless everyone. Now I will write about an interesting Steemit Engagement Challenge S19/W5. The topic of which is "Impact of Digital Classroom in Our Education System". In this post I am going to share my views on this topic. Then I started.

• Digital classroom :-

Digital classroom is a modern teaching method where digital technology and internet are used to conduct educational activities. It is usually conducted through virtual or online platforms, where teachers and students can take classes without being physically present.

These digital classrooms became active in many Asian countries during the Covid19 pandemic as students were unable to attend physical classrooms. Devices such as laptops, tablets, projectors, interactive boards etc. are generally used in digital classrooms. It is a modern teaching method, which provides opportunities for students to learn more interactively and effectively.

It should be adopted in our education system as it can play an important role in upgradation and modernization of education. Here are some reasons..

• Accessibility : Students can learn from any part of the world through digital classrooms. This is especially beneficial for those who do not have the opportunity to physically go to school or university.

• Flexibility : Students can take classes according to their own schedule. Apart from live classes, recorded lectures and assignments etc. can be accessed at any time.

• Affordable : Digital classrooms are cost-effective in many cases. Because it reduces the cost of travel, textbooks etc.

• Monitoring and Evaluation : Students' progress and performance can be easily monitored in a digital way. Teachers can better determine the weakness and strength of the students and guide them in that way.

• Adapting to the needs of society : Technology has become essential in all areas of our lives. Digital classrooms help students acquire technical skills for the future.

Digital classrooms are an effective means of making education modern, flexible and accessible. Which will play an essential role in the current and future education system. Establishing a digital classroom requires some gadgets that make the learning process easier and more effective for teachers and students. Here is a list of 3 essential gadgets explained with diagram.

• A smartboard is a digital board that works through a touchscreen. It is very useful for teachers. Because they can write, draw and display various multimedia content directly on the board. These smartboards can easily display videos, audios, animations, and online resources, helping students understand the content better.

• With this smartboard, notes or content created by the teacher can be saved and reused later. which saves time. Smartboards encourage teamwork and collaboration among students. Students can work directly in the board. Which helps to learn with each other.

• Projectors are used for various important purposes in the classroom. Which makes the teaching process more effective and interesting. Using projectors, lecture notes, presentations, videos, and other educational content can be displayed on a large screen, allowing for easy viewing by students in the entire classroom.

• Teachers can display educational videos, documentaries and other audio-visual materials through projectors. which helps students in understanding the content. Besides, it takes the students another step forward in modernity. It refreshes their minds in the classroom.

• In science, history, or visual arts classes, teachers can use projectors to analyze various diagrams, pictures, or charts. Which helps the students to understand the content better.

• Tablets or laptops are needed in the classroom for several important reasons. Students can take class notes digitally using tablets or laptops. which can be easily stored and reused later. It is much more efficient and organized than paper notes. Through this, students can easily access various educational materials online such as e-books, articles, video lectures and other resources.

• Students can submit assignments online through laptops or tablets. They can participate in online examination. It is time saving and easy. Using it, students can learn to use various software and digital tools. Which helps in developing their technical skills in future.

• Students can create various presentations using laptops or tablets and present them in the classroom. Which enhances their communication skills and confidence.

• Flexibility : Students of an institution can attend classes at their convenient time and place. This is especially beneficial for those who study alongside work.

• Accessibility : Students can easily access from any device with an internet connection anywhere. There are also opportunities to participate in online courses from various educational institutions.

• Global Education Opportunity : Through digital medium, students can easily take courses on various subjects around the world. They can master anything they want. Also, digital learning reduces the use of paper, which is beneficial for the environment.

• Technical limitations : Students and teachers must have good quality internet connection and necessary technical equipment. which may not always be readily available. Besides, there will always be problems if there is no electricity.

• Lack of training : Some teachers may not be used to using digital platforms. which may affect the quality of education. Also, sitting in front of a computer screen for a long time can cause problems like eye problems, back pain, and stress.

• Lack of social interaction : Direct interaction with classmates is possible in a physical classroom. which is limited in the digital classroom. It does not create social bonds between classmates.
