Netflix raises its prices in Spain again for all plans that allow account sharing: this is how the new changes will affect you
It was a mere matter of time before Netflix decided to raise its prices in Spain once again and the platform has decided that it is time to do so. From the past, October 11, Netflix increases the cost of two of the three plans it offers to its customers, specifically the Standard and the Premium.
The new prices
The increase in the price is one euro in the Standard plan, which goes from 11.99 to 12.99 euros per month, and two for the Premium, which remains at 17.99 euros when until now it was set at 15.99 euros. In this way, the prices of the platform plans look like this:
Basic: € 7.99 (unchanged)
Standard: € 12.99 (price increase of one euro)
Premium: € 17.99 (increase of two euros in price)
As I pointed out before, it was sung that Netflix was going to touch prices in Spain sooner rather than later, since this past August it already raised them in several European countries, including France. So there was no increase in Spain, where the company has preferred to wait until October to do so.
Isn't there Mobile only plan? Here in asia we do have one. And that plan is cheaper like 2.99 dollar around. Which is not bad if you ask me. But rest of the multi device plans keep on increasing per year.
The mobile plan is only available for a single device and has a cost of 3.5 euros. It is not available for several countries only for Asia and India. I am surprised by the price difference.
this was always going to happen.. They are very aware of the fact that people are subbing for one account and then sharing it with several friends. I think they turned a blind eye to this for a while but if they tried to stop it people would either find a way around it or just cancel.
If you use it enough I still think it is a pretty good deal. There's 4 people on my account and I don't have any idea how much it costs because I am not the one paying for it :P
