Candy

I don't really keep up with the news, only hear or read something sporadically.
If the news is true, then the famine in a number of countries is already a fact. Bread is sold on a ticket, a digital ticket. The idea is that the poorest people can still get a loaf of bread. I wonder how the poorest people go online. Those who cannot afford bread certainly cannot afford an Internet connection and a computer or smartphone, or am I crazy?
So in Iran, as a poor man, you have to have internet to get your bread. In other countries there are already riots and the European government (Brussels) is said to be afraid that the same thing will happen in Europe. I don't think Brussels is afraid of that. Brussels (this is in the country of Belgium) does not care if people in Spain, Portugal or Hungary have to eat. They also don't care if people are out in the cold during the winter. It may be warm in Portugal and southern Spain but it is not and the rest of Europe is not. The newspapers are just talking. There is food but the governments refuse to import and some shops set a limit and just keep back what is 'scarce'.
What has this to do with candy you may ask? I will tell you. Candy and soft drinks are available everywhere, including online. This also applies to biscuits and biscuits. Strange in itself, don't you think?
As far as I am concerned, food is food and people can live without bread.
